.... We need to start working on the next generation by teaching our children an old-fashioned ideal we used to call "personal responsibility." Taking personal responsibility for your actions has fallen out of style in the last 50 years, but if we work hard we can bring it back.......Until we do we will just have more of this crap.
These are future welfare losers. Can totally shoot them.
Good enough. I imagine I won't remember my dotage anyway. If I make it that far.Fixed.
Don't you be stealing my COLOR.Oh..this is so 1950's. Everyone knows white color theft is where it's at these days. Dumb ass kids.
You can't be serious.
Who is dangling a carot? If you work hard and earn money, you can buy anything in a conv. store. We are not talking about M-B, Ferrari, Lambo cars here.
Leading them? Everyone has a brain, able to learn things, makes his/her own decision (unless he or she is mental challenged). It is so easy/cop out to say "not my fault, it is 'fill in the blank' fault" instead of "I am my own man, I accept full responsibility for all of my actions, no one fault but my own".
Someone in this thread even said something about not that bad for a flash mob. How about IT IS BAD to steal things? I guess I am old school because I don't believe in behaving like a scumb/criminal and I never worry about any store owners would shot me dead because I don't plan to rob any stores, ever.
I believe that I'm close to the root of the problem here. Most of what I've seen in this thread are simpleton knee-jerk reaction types of responses. "Kill 'em all!!" LOL
Take my advice, spread the wealth, instill self-respect, self-confidence and a healthy respect for life. Only then will events such as this become a thing of the past.

While I don't believe "kill them all" is the answer (letting them scumbags got off without any consequences is not cool either), but I don't believe "spread the wealth" is the answer either. Did we try that already since the 60's? Great Society programs anyone? How are them poors doing right now compare to the 60's? We all know the answers.
Self respect and confidence and all the "self" things must come from within and be taught by family members.
QFT...our welfare programs have gone off the charts over the past 50 years and what have those on those programs done? Learned to extend and take advantage of them.
Doing this (much like those that drive like asshats with kids in the car) teaches their children to think the same way.
I think it's total bullshit that the poor think they should have everything life has to offer and if they do get caught taking it, they should be let off since they were 'needy'.
I have made tons of sacrifices in my life, even in the 90's when I could have easily set myself up nice doing 'carding'...I skipped on things I couldn't afford and tried to learn what would I need to do to gain them through personal growth not picking up an illegal handgun and robbing people.
Why is it then do you think that many other countries that have even more comprehensive welfare and other social programs don't have nearly as many problems with them?
Did ANY of them grab beer? For shame.
Did ANY of them grab beer? For shame.
I think I answered that in what you quoted. Same way how the disaster in Japan had no looting/rapes, but in the US we lose power for 2 days and whole strip malls are decimated, girls raped and people robbed.
In these places you also don't have petty lawsuits put against you for doing the RIGHT thing.
BS. Just because you heard it on the internet, or thought it up in a drunk stuper, does not make it true.
After the flood: US$500,000 taken when Japan's tsunami cracks a bank safe
"Police say the earthquake and tsunami that pulverized coastal Japan crippled a bank's security mechanisms, and left a safe wide open. That allowed someone to walk off with 40 million yen (US$500,000)."
