try alan greenspan and the federal reserve bank governers...the ones who control monetary policy. Or you could blame US consumers for spending so much on foreign goods. Bush has had very little impact on the economy, but definately better than if gore/kerry had been in office. The US government debt is nothing compared to the debt and negative savings rate of americans.

Wrong.. Bush's careless deficit spending and tax cuts sends inflation through the roof.
Deficit spending and tax cuts puts more money into circulation. If more money is circulated, then money is worth less.

Alan Greenspan also worked under Clinton (Bush Sr and Reagan as well i believe).
