$400 MSN Rebate Ending in March

I think I read this in BW,

but Microsoft is ending the $400 MSN Rebate in March because they say it was cutting into their profits.

they'll switch to offering 1 year of free MSN, and possibly a $200 rebate for a 2 year contract.

Good thing. I don't think anyone should be indebted to MS for any length of time, much less for 3 years! JMHO

Makes it easier on the Best Buy employees. Felt bad offering something that I didn't want customers to bite on.

But alas back at school and no job. God I miss that good ol' Best Buy discount

Anyone say $30 printer cable? Oh yeah, $1.80 for BB employees (truthfully). Accessories like that marked up like a mofo.

I wonder if anybody put off getting cable or DSL Internet because of this stupid deal. If so, they are even dumber than Microsoft thought they were.
