To the best of my knowledge there are no other mainstream stores that carry this.
YOu can find it at newegg, but in terms of a PM I doubt you'll find one.

Did the same thing as you last week and bought it at the $280 price tag. I just got back from CompUSA with the $50 in my pocket.

Return with the original receipt to the store and you will get a whole new receipt at the $229 price tag. You can then use the new receipt to get the Seagate $30 mail in rebate.
