I found this AWESOME case at PC Beyond.

The case has a silver looking front to it and it looks really sharp. Plus it has 2 front USB ports and a side cooling fan included!

For $42 shipped, I couldn't pass it up!

Got it for my new Athlon XP 1700+ system which in the process of building!

Complete Specs:

USB Port in Front
2ND COOLING FAN

Wow, looks like a pretty nice deal! Only that that confuses me is where is the hidden drive bay? I see four 3.5 bays, none hidden.

Those are 4 x 5.25 drive bays and 3 x 3.5 drive bays. One of the 3.5 bays are hidden (meant for a hard drive).

FYI

Are you sure it's Athlon XP approved? I don't see it on AMD's recommended power supplies list

.Because I saw a computer store selling the same case on e-bay and they have pics of the P/S with the AMD approval stickers on it... etc.

The link to the ebay listing is here.

It was convincing enough for me. Maybe not for you guys, but I got mine ordered.

I've bought two of these cases. The single case fan is beyond loud. Also the P/S fan is very loud. If you plan not to have the fans changed - you probably don't listen to music. The power switch sticks. I use this case to build when economy is of the essence. I buy a dozen Panaflos at a time so the cost to change the fans is minimal. Also I build up the power switch a bit with some clear resin. So far the P/S have been steady after two months of use. I recommend this case only to hobbyists on a budget willing to put in the time to mod and a has way to purchase Panaflos cheaply.

Well heck, I already ordered it.

Im going to try it out, it might be pretty good. if not I'll just order that one from newegg and then auction this one on e-bay for 10-20 bucks more than I paid for it! If you didn't notice, that guy is selling these for around 40 and up plus 11.00 shipping.

So, I'm not too worried about the deal.

Hmm... 3.2 on resellerratings. I'm a little worried about this company now.

Anyone have any feedback on them?

<< 0.6mm thickness... that's not to thick might be a very fragile case... >>

Agree. 0.6mm is on the thin side. I believe .75 or .8mm is the "standard". Of course, my Antec is 1.0mm....but that's another story.

Also could be just a pricing error. Price wrong, or may not include PS

Sheesh!

There resellerratings are horrible! Do you think it is too late to cancel the order?

I ordered today at about 4:00pm EST.

I bought this case a few months ago for the same price...it has been this price since it first came out.
(btw this is a repost... from a while ago so i guess it's ok)

I don't have a side fan, only 1 on the back. There's no hole on the side panel so I guess u'll have to make one urself.
One bad thing with this case is, where you put your cards and stuff... there are no places to screw it onto the case for a secure fit.
It's a simple clip system.
It's not a great case but it does its job. And for $42 shipped, it's a great buy.

Oh and the 400W ps is made by some weird company called wintech or something like that...
It has an AMD Recommended and P4 ready sticker on the ps, but "Recommended" means nothing ya know...

"Recommended" usually means: "The specs we're claiming are the minimum AMD requirements".

"AMD Approved" means it was submitted to AMD for testing, and it meets the requirements for specific CPU's - Please note that an "AMD Approved" power supply for a 1 GHz Athlon may not be approved for an Athlon XP 1500. Check the AMD website for your specific requirements.

You can also find this case at Ability Wholesale and We Build PCs, they're owned by the same company, if you don't want to buy it from PC Beyond. The price is a little more but the s/h is a lot cheaper to me, ~$8 with a bunch of other things.

I've boutght a few of them; everyone tells me they look great. They're certainly worth the price! One problem is that the expansion cards (PCI, AGP etc) aren't held in using the traditional screw-each-one method. They're held in using a single retention bar -- it keeps the cards from falling out of their slots, but some (particularly the 3rd and 4th PCi slot) can wobble up and down.

The 400W PSU is useful too. I have some pictures from another of my threads where I"m trying to sell one of these cases (loaded). See:
front
inside

The extra case fan is on the back, a standard 80mm.

Abilitywholesale has a cheaper shipping (less $1) than webuildpcs for me. but i will try out this co. hope everything work out.
but if u go abilitywholesale, check the HSF fan adaptor OCZ WindTunnel $6.99 to make the 80mm fan fit to your HSF (60mm)
