sounds like a pretty good deal, and maxtor has a really good policy on their drive warranties actually. if it ever fails during their warranty period, they send you another one of equal or greater value, without question. i think my friend had to use their warranty once, and he said their cs is pretty good! =)

I'm sure I can buy the cable seperately but how am I suppose to install the hard drive without the Software? I know I don't belong here with all the computer techies so I've been just lurking around but please don't be too harsh on my ignorance. Any help would be appreciated.
