41 c too hot?

Ok, I got a very strange problem....

I have an ABIT KT7A with 1.4ghz Tbird, Alpha 8045 with 50cfm YS Tech fan.

When I have the case open...My max load is 38 c adn I can run Priome 95 for 24+ hours

But when I close my case...Whenever the temp reaches 41C, The system bombs out, reboots , locks and the who package....

I know I obviously have an air flow problem but
I have read people able to run things up to 50 C, why can't I go past 41c?

Please give me your thoughts...

Well, as you say the problems only occur with your case closed, so I guess it simply has to be a temp problem.

Wht RAM u r using ? Seems tht the RAM might be overheated. Prime95 is very RAM sensitive.

I forgot. Ur CPU temp is fine. Sometimes look up doesn't ur CPU temp is no good. Ur other conmponents in teh box need to be sufficient cool as well.

or maybe your board is reporting different temps? On one motherboard (MSI) with my 1100AMD i had 42-46C now on my ASUS i have 49-55C reports, same fan, case, and everything.
