I'm expecting my OEM Turbolink tomorrow...I'll pop it in and post the +3.3 & +5 load readings.

More than anythink this is meant to be a back-up....but what good is a back-up if it doesn't work? :disgust:

I popped mine into!!

Initial reactrion was no difference in 3+.3, +5 or +12 voltage readings using MBM 5. Prime 95 stresses the system pretty good.

The fan on the bottom is a real plus..and yes, the fans are noisier than the Antec - of course, there's two of them.

I'm leaving it in for the time being.

I have a lot of equipment (sig) and this is working fine for the first hour.

Well Ive had mine up for 24 hours straight havent noticed any faults...ill keep mine. I just wish the atx cable plug in was longer as I stated. Also I dont notice any excessive fan noise, its actually quieter than my one fan Deer 300 watt PSU I might actually buy another one for a backup hell for 39 dollars.....

I'm telling everyone if you want quiet don't get a dual fan PSU.. of course those Enermax's with the adjustable fans might be the exception but I can't verify that..

Got mine today and well I like it! Its not loud at all, and Im digging it so far. One question... Now it seems that my case is exptra charged with electricity. If I have the case side off and try to but it on a spank shoots when the metal hits, and then some times that shuts the cpu down... I have never had this problem... Does anyone have any ideas?

It means that your system only needs like 300 W, so the extra 130 W has to be dissipated into the atmosphere.

Actually it sounds like a serious not-being-grounded issue that you should look into immediately.

Well that company looks a bit shady, but I took a chance and I am very happy with it. I got the $24 350w Codegen, there was a huge thread on it, search. The packaging was horrible, no padding, lucky for me there was nothing wrong with the PS. GL.

I just got my ps and while I was examining the innards, it noticed a smell similar to a burnt component smell, but not quite. Anyone else notive this? Could it possibly be like that new car smell....goes away after you use it? Haven't plugged it in anywhere yet, hope it works.

hrrm Sparks shooting out? Dude sounds like you need to RMA that PSU, I cant say mine is shooting sparks, all though would be kinda interesting to say the least. As far as packaging goes, I think they did a good job, my box was in sound condition, nice strength to it, and the contents were bobble wrapped and in great shape Im really liking this power supply it is super quiet and just has gobs of voltage

I dont think its the power supply... I think its a grounding issue or some thing is exposed... Not sure what, but I just want to find out tips or tricks to ground it or the case... Im going to make sure all of the screw/grounding holes have srews on my mb... that will be step one...

I've noticed that too...mine's running fine - the "stink" lasted about 24 hours and seems to have dissipated - or I just got used to it.

The +3.3 is running 3.6, +5 ranges from 4.97 to 5.11 and +12 from 11.47 to 12.01.

I was kinda concerned about the low +12 - but I have read that +/-10% has not affect on stability or performance - well within +/-10%.

Fir $38.00 this is looking like a real good power supply!

My 3.3v and 5v lines are a little weak. 12v is running strong between 12.10 and 12.20. Overall It is running great. Allowed me to push my fsb to 150 on my XP1600

To anyone with this PSU....

Is there a pot to adjust the 5v rail inside the PSU?

Also, does anyone with an Epox 8KHA+ have this PSU? What voltages are you getting on 5v?

Thanks!

Nope. Posted about 2 pages back

I am going to order one, as it sounds like a good deal. Still $39.

Didn't switch it off since I got it about a month ago, only restarts every 2 days.
Works great, 1 have 1 CD-RW, 1 CD-Rom, 2 HD running RAID, 1 HD running backup, 3 case fans, Epox 8KHA mobo, 2 sets of CC lights.
running at average of 2.45V, 3.23V, 4.95V, 11.48V
