I have recently bought 4400 X2 ADV version and since I am having a problem oc-ing (I guess I just got a one that doesn't oc well) I will sell my 4400 X2 and get 4800 X2 ADA version. It's Socket 939 btw
Now, since this is the fastest X2 you can buy for 939 (or isn't?) is ADA version any good? Do they make ADV version of this CPU and if yes, where could I acquirre one? The cheapest I found was US287$ on newegg and zipzoomfly I think and both are boxed ADA versions.
If someone knows of a better deal, please let me know.
The CPU will run on ASUS A8N32 SLI Deluxe and 2x1GB OCZ Platinum XTC with Zalman CNPS9500 LED.
One more quick question. Which thermal grease should I get for this cpu? I see Arctic Silver 5 is pretty good and also they have some ceramique grease, which I am not sure about. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
