45nm Phenom X4 tested

Someone started this thread here blah in a not used very often (or maybe its new?) forum.

As you can see here

A good drop in power (hopefully thermals too). There is also a good speed increase 9% if my math is correct.

I have personally been teetering on getting a new 9950 X4, 790FX (with SB750) in order to hold me over until the 45nm come out. However, if the engineering sample is out and doing well, one may hope it would be released soon? Last I heard though, they weren't coming out until late fall, early winter.

Use [L=title]http://example.com/[/L] tag instead of [url],
And I cant find a way to have inline images - just link them the same as url's too.

The toolbar that pops up when you create or edit your posts will guide you in making URL links. Just hit the "http" button.

I've only been on these forums for a few days, but so far I see no way of actually displaying images. You should probably just give us the URLs without tags so we can drag and drop.

ya you can't display images, can only link to them.

Thank goodness you can't display images. They disabled that feature long ago and most likely will never enable it. Only mods can post images.

you dont, never been inline images here, just hotlinks


someone who registered 4 years ago should have figured that out IMO
