4670k temps

I just put in my new 4670k. It is running stock right now with CPUZ reporting 1.128v. At full stock boost of 3.8ghz it runs 28c idle. But at Prime 95 I am hitting 66 C on the main core.

I am using a true spirit 120m with a artic f12 cooling fan. I replaced the fan with this fan because this one pushes more CF at a lower RPM. Maybe that was a mistake? I can put the old fan back on. The true spirit beat the 212 evo in most tests and costs about the same. Also it fits really well in my antec 300.

I am also a tad worried that I over applied the TIM. I used an X pattern.. maybe have gotten too much.

So.. what should my temps be stock prime 95. Am I running way to high?

That temp looks fine.

Looks fine. The real question wih these is where the voltage wall is if you plan on oc.

Find a mobo-specific OC guide and read up before just giving Vcore or using BIOS auto-oc, would be my advice.

I was gonna let everything run for a couple of weeks to make sure all the hardware was good before I OC. Though my Ram is at 2400mhz. That is what it is rated to run though.. and it does so perfectly.
