Anyone prone to seizures shoudl not visit that site, lol. I have to say, don't see many store sites in the western world with that much going on right on the main page. No offense to anyone intended of course, just opened it up and it caught me a bit by surprise.

I really wasn't complaining and didn't mean to criticize, it just surprised me and actually made me a little dizzy. If thats where the lowest prices are then I would shop there too, regaurdless of what the site designer was smoking that morning.

a "bottem of the bucket" dual core cpu and DD2 based system should outperform what you have easily. You can get that for under $200 dollars. Compared to the $80 you would spend getting a better cpu. I know thats not what you really want to hear, but you are dealing with 3 year old tech and technology has made BIG strides since this system was born.

Lol, why are so many people suggesting an 8600GT??

A HD3850 is roughly the same price, if not cheaper some places, and offers MUCH MUCH better performance...fanboys...........

Lol, they're not...

Read more carefully: 9600GT

EDIT: To the OP, here's what I would suggest.

abit IP35-E $65 after MIR
e2160 $75
Team Elite 2x1GB DDR2-800 $33 after MIR
GeCube HD3850 OC 512MB $180 after MIR

Relatively simple OC to 3GHz and you will never look back. Sell off your old stuff for $150-200 and your cost is under $200 for a blazing fast gaming setup.
