Hey just signed up so hey everyone, did anyone else order this, cuz I ordered it and it came today, and the thing is the game is suppose to be 4 cds, but only cd 1, 3, and 4 were in there for the game. The 2nd cd was cd2 of Rainbow Six! How odd....

So did this happen to anyone else?

Geez, watch out, it doesn't work with W2K. I ended up buying the game but unable to play...

Yeah I've got w2k took, after I installed it, tried launching it with the shortcut, it said launcher.exe is not a valid win32 application, but I figured a way around it; just open up the contents of cd1 and double click on the file named game, and it will work. So tazmania did you get cd2 of Rainbow Six also?

I paid $30 for the game when it came out, it was well worth it! Great game with a wonderful storyline and clever puzzles throughout the game. I played it on WinME and beat it... but now I'm on Win2k (best move I've ever made) but I haven't reinstalled it since I have a slow CD-ROM drive. I might want to give it another go! By the way, playing the game with a V5 with 4X FSAA totally rocks

Got this on Friday ! I got all 4 CDs fine. I have both W2K and W98 on my machine ... will try 2K first ... if that doesn't work I'll go with W98 (that's exactly the reason I kept that partition around).

I'm using win2k and launched the game.exe but whenever i "begin the jounrey" i am unable to get passed the inital dialougue scene with the ol' lady. The game automatically closes and i return to windows. Truly a bummer. If you would turn on your pm -or- enable your profile we can chat in private if you prefer. Thanks!

I've got the game on w2k and it is working ok.
played thru first puzzle and it re-starts ok.

on the w2k, I have sp2 and directx 8.1 installed

i figured out my mistake -- launching the game.exe from cd1 kicks me out of the game after the first dialougue sequence but launching the game.exe from the installed game dir. works fine. Thanks.
