I just bought this for 63

How much heroin could I have bought with the 13 dollars saved!

Love this memory BTW. It makes me feel warm and tingly inside. Maybe I don't need heroin.

Oooh, if this was a single 4GB stick, I'd so jump all over this.

Thanks OP....Looks like a smoken deal for 4gb of DDR3 to me

Always wanted a system with 8gb of memory....Turns out it's identical to the 4gb's in my current sig system which makes it perfect.

Not sure what'll happen with 8gb's in my system but I've run this stuff at 1850mhz without any issues in my rig while playing around with my overclock!

I figure if my sig system doesn't wanna cooperate with all memory slots filled I'll just make a microcenter run and pick up one of the cheap AMD combos and upgrade my son's rig

What voltage/timings did you use on this set when you hit 1850? I run a set of G.Skill DDR3-1866 underclocked to 1740 right now, 7-8-7-23, 1.55v. I'd love to be able to hit that with this $49 set but that might be asking too much, especially with all slots filled. It's rated at DDR3-1600, 9-9-9-24, 1.5v.

what 's the difference between this ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231193
which I now own.
and this

Otherwise I'll jump into the deal if there is no delta.

The Ripjaws are the higher-end of the two, if only because of the "better" heatsink (which probably doesn't make much of a difference. They are probably the same chips (see my earlier post on a related subject). The Ripjaws should work fine with the standard-issue cas 9 sticks.

Looking at my notes I was using the following when testing.

9-9-9-31 1T @1.62v

There are some responses from the manufacturer under the User Reviews that indicates that this memory may not work well with AMD Socket AM3 boards unless you increase the voltage.

I have had zero problems with my Gigabyte AM3 board. This RAM is super reliable and overclocks nicely. Very tempted to go on this as I've been wanting to move to 8GB for a while.
