I ordered PC2-5300 (DDR2-667) sticks. Would these work also with AM2 boards that support DDR2 800?
Thank you,

I got 5 sticks and they're all D9HNL's. Pretty good RAM for the price, it overclocked to DDR800 @ 5-6-6-16 with only 1.8V, using Auto-SPD and simple FSB bump. Looks like these are reverse D9, where they perform well with stock voltage and has no gains with increased voltage.

I found it odd that the rebate form provided a phone number and email but not a website to check the status so I looked for an offical HP rebate status website and found the one listed below. For those who ordered and sent their rebate in early, can you check to see if your rebate is listed and let us know.

The thing is, ddr1 isn't being made in new, smaller process generations (is the voltage spec too high for newer processes?) so the move to ddr2 was inevitable.Originally posted by: bf1942
Yes the Micron chip ram is single sided.
AMD was right,
sticking with the DDR2 memory really is good for the consumer.
