That's the new plan, we will have no jobs, but we can live off of the rebates...

Only problem with that is I am not exactly sure how you would file a class action law suit or get the FTC involved in a case where the rebate company is outside of US jurisdiction.

... Looks like mine might be "lost".
I sure hate the Post office policy of losing rebate mail at a much higher rate than other mail. How do they do that? Hmmmm.

Im trying the rebate + ram from http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...alf%20Price%20Software
Which would equal free ram if it works. It's worth a shot.
i shot that retailer an email asking them if they were an authorized HP reseller. i'm waiting for their response.
Each stick was packed into plastic clamshell, sealed with HP "security" sticker. The module itself has both HP and Micron stickers.Originally posted by: alaricljs
You didn't get them in a box? the box label is the one with the barcodes.

Because you told me too late about that :roll:Originally posted by: CoBRaXT
Why didn't you just purchase the RAM through PCSuperStore? I have a feeling that the guys that sold it to you bought the memory from PCSuperStore, mailed in the rebate and then just mailed you the RAM sans box to make a huge profit.

If I pull the 2x512s in this Dell 8400, (533 speed), will these 667s work fine (at the speed permitted by the braindead Dell BIOS)?

Got my check today. I was shortchanged $40. Shoulda been $200, got $160
I had purchased 5 sticks and submitted 5 seperate reabates all identical.
I was rebated for only 4 of the 5. Not worth the $40 to chase it but I am curious about some others that had purchased 5 sticks.
