Question 4k or 8k Displayport Cable for AOC 27G15 27" Gaming Monitor?

So, I just discovered today that running a Displayport cable from a monitor to the PC is preferable. Only one of my monitors has a Displayport, my AOC 27G15 one. But, I can't find anything online about whether it supports 4k or 8k, so not sure which cable to go for, or if it even matters? I've seen one site that said it can cause latency issues if you get an 8k cord for a 4k monitor, but I take anything I come across like that with a grain of salt. So, can someone tell me which one I should get for my monitor, and whether it will make much difference at all?

The only difference is the bandwidth. I use an 8K on my 4K projector. It was cheaper than the lower rated cable as well.

That's what I figured, thanks. The 8k one I was looking at on Amazon is only $1 more than the 4k, so I figured I might as well.
