Well one thing I see as being a major problem.. is the Depth. Only 16 1/2". Not good.
An Enlight 7237 is 18".

There would not be enough room at the motherboard level to even install removable hard drive racks.

One of the reasons I would buy a Full tower.. is to be able to fit stuff like that in it.

Just too small in my opinion on the depth.

Bummer. I really liked the price!

Hold on....

After a closer look... the motherboard will be well below the top 3 bays. This could work!

Might just pick one up.

By the way cheap can be good...

One of my VERY favorite midsize cases sells for only $26.99. I buy them local (no shipping),
and are AMD approved. Very good for overclocking (rear fan mount, and VERY good front ventilation - something I find VERY important). These cheapos come with only a 250watt power supply..... but work very well. And have (5) external 5 1/4 drive bays (also important).

So I think I will pick one of these up. I need a "cheap" full size.

Thanks!

Hey....I decided to look at the link...found out I have one of these. It houses my wife's pc. It?s not as good as my Aopen, but I have seen much worse. My opinion?. .It?s not that bad. My biggest complaint is that the LED's are too dim behind that smoked lens on the bezel.

Hey Everyone,

I work for this company. I am the head technician here. For a $47 case this takes teh cake. I have worked in MANY case and seen many "name-brands" and never have I seen a case that is less "lethal" (talking about cutting the crap out of your hands), easier to get into and easier to customize(such as drill holes in and paint and modify to make this case superior to any other case. Ok its faults, not AMD approved, but as any technician that knows what they are doing, that is not worth the HTML code its written in. Only five power connectors, hmmm is that why they came out with Y-Splitters? It IS UL Certitified. Yes there are only 2 places to put a harddrive. But really guys how many drives do you need when you can purchase a 75GB ATA100/7200RPM IBM? Anyway, Im not trying to sell my product, just defend it. The look isnt the greatest, but be creative. We are taking ou case and coloring it our web colors adding plexiglass and neon lights to it. Also cutting holes in the top and sides to mount 120mm fans on it. Dont by a case cause of a review you heard on it. Buy it cause you want a case like no one else. By a leader not a sheep.

Why do people complain once a thread gets to the point that people actually discuss the value of a product? You know that the deal will be posted in the first post why read further if you are just going to complain and hope to get thread locked? If you see a thread in 600 posts long do you think that there will be some hidden deal? That is why there is a tab for new topic!

I like this casing very much. I've built one computer using this casing. It's big for cooling and it's steady. Even the width is small, who cares. I care is about cooling and i can access my motherboard and in-devices.

Like anything else...the beauty of this deal is in the eye of the beholder...

If you've got the extra money to spend on a nicer case, by all means go for it. A good case is an investment that you can take with you from upgrade to upgrade.

If you're short on cash and your budget won't allow you to spend extra $$$ on a case then this full tower case with 300 watt PS packs a lot of bang for the buck for $47. Sure it's not a Supermicro or Antec or CoolerMaster...but hey...it's only $47 and it does the job.

For me personally, I'd rather spend a bit more on a case...for someone else this may be a great deal. So eveyone just chill...

If you think the case isn't worth the money, you can say so without crapping all over this thread...

Thanks for posting this deal. I just ordered #W01002156 And recieved in 2 days

Quan Item No. Description Price Extension

1 CAB006 IDE Cable, Ultra 66 - 3 $3.99 $3.99
Connector

SUBTOTAL $73.45
SALES TAX $0.00
SHIPPING $18.52

ORDER TOTAL $91.97

The case had a DOA power supply in it. I called webuildpsc's and spoke with "Brian" who was very nice and customer service oriented. I am very happy with the quality to cost ratio of this case this is an excellent value. The packaging was done very well and it arrived quick, And I did receive confirmation of my order via e-mail. The other Items in my order were of high quality also and at work now. I borrowed a PS and the tower is running a duron 750, cd,dvd, cd writer and a geeks removable enclosure. My neighbor was so impressed with the case, which he calls the "refriderator" because of its size, that he bought it for 1200$ All of the componants were in a mini/mid last week and he wasn't interested.

This board is about Hot deals, and this is one. A top end case is not a hot deal by itself, The quality to cost ratio must be considered.

The three fans are quiet, However modding the rear case metal grills by cutting two large holes and doing the same on the front metal and mounting the fan to the metal vs. using the plastic from cage fan will increase airflow dramaticly and reduce sound of the fans even more. I am more than happy with my purchase and will repost when I get the new P.S.

The price for this cases is reasonable?
If you compare this case to Antec It just
like you compare a BMW to Ford.

I did bought this cases and I fight out the
case have several flaw.

The flaw in this case are:
1) The case is too tall.
2) The stand is unstable and not wide enough,
to support the case.(easy to fall)
3) The air flow of these case is not that good.
If you dont put a exhaust fan on top the hot
air is trap in side the case. Why? because
the powersuplly fan instead of suck the air out
from bottom it will suck the air out from top
case through the top openning more than the air
from bottom.

I have to cut open the bottom of power supply to
let the PS fan suck the hot air out.
4) Powersuplly is not that good My PS produce -13.75V
on -12V, -5.75V on -5V.

5) This cases look unproportional.

If you want big case then buy this case
If you have low buget then buy this case else get Antec
If you want classy case then buy Antec.

For the price this is a good case, but really not that good compared to most full towers. Only 1 extra internal bay?? You'd be better off with the Antec, unless you like playing with the 5.25" HD breackets. There's only two more bays than my mid-tower case, not much for a case of such bulk. I'd only consider it under two reasons: 1) I want a huge case but only need a mid tower to store my stuff; or 2) I'm building a low-end server and need 5.25" bays for pull-out/hot-swap HD's.

I mean, check this puppy out: Antec KS188
And if you really want external: Antec KS180
And finally, the best: Antec SX1240

I'm an Antec fan I guess.. Summation: this only hot if you are cheap. But if you weren't cheap you probably wouldn't be here anyway.. so I think its warm.

<< AndyTriboletti, a plexiglass case won't provide any RF shielding. You could experience interference with all sorts of radio/TV/wireless products. Instead, you might want to try some of that tranparent aluminum which Scotty manufactured in that Star Trek movie where they travel back in time to 20th century earth to save the whales. >>

RF won't matter, I've seen plexi-glass computers. And what about people that leave the case off? And I've run computers without cases.. on top of anti-static foam sheets. 2' x 2' x 6" computer, kinda fun.

You get what you pay for....Don't buy cheap cases because they're cheap. Buy a case because it functions well. Check this site out. link Its where I've bought in the past and I have had some great cases come from them. I chose the 7896. Here is some pics from a really nice case modified by this company.link

for people who are heavy tweakers and want good cooling, this not be the case for them. but for people ona low budjet, this may work. keyword "may" there is only (1) internal 3.5 bay. that is judt wrong. For the differnce in price, i would definately recomend the sx1030. for people on a low budjet, this may be right for you, but i would rather save up for a better case.

Hello everyone, nice to see you all hate each other now over a case

I ended up going to a local store and buying a mid tower. The reason was I wanted to see my case before I bought, because pictures look different from reality. Anyway, it's black and grey, so it's a bit better looking, has 2 HD bays, and I am satisfied. Came out to $65 (local), so it was the same as this case basically. Full towers are overkill for me, I won't be running that many 5.25" devices. I will have to mod it though, has limited airflow.

Now everyone has their opinions on this case and that is their own choice. Those who actually own it can speak from experience. Those who have only seen it or heard about it, well, they can do whatever they damn well please, but if all you are going to do is bitch, then go elsewhere.

I happen to have picked this case up for $30 last year and put in a duron 600 oc'd to 1 gig. I have 2 80 mm fans above the power supply blowing out the back, 1 in front drawing cool air in, and one in back blowing out behind the slots. With a cd-rom, cd-writer, dvd, and hard drive installed, I still have plenty of room for expansion. The case is running cool and I haven't even gotten to the good mods on it yet. Sure, you can piss and moan about it doesn't have this and it doesn't have that, but it is big enough to hold almost anything I want to throw in it. The case is stable as can be and the side panels are easily modified, but more than strong enough. Just need to grab the dremel and have at it. As for having to remove the front bezel to add or remove anything, what a load of crap as all of the drives simply slide in, no major inconvenience here.

Cases are personal, so buy whatever you want. I am more than happy with this case and didn't find a need for spending extra money on an antec. To each his own, but if you try to rain on others parades all the time, they just might p!ss all over yours one day too.

Culan, some people don't need to compare a Ford with a BMW, they simply get one of each.

Hello I have this case and for its price it is damn good.
I have only two exhaust fans blowing air out the top of the case.
What are your recommendations for cooling of this case (those of you that have it)?
I have still to use that giant cage in the front... What size fan would fit in it?

I bought this case from Webuildpcs around Christmas, I got it right away. I didn't realize how close they were to my residence. But as for the case, its decent. I replaced the power supply with an Enermax simply b/c that PS was a POS. This case can have great cooling possibilities though, you just have to put forth a little effort. I put 2 92mm blowholes on the side, a 92mm blowhole exhaust on top, made the holes bigger in the front, and got rid of that cage up front to let more air in. I added a baybus and painted it too. Now I think it looks BA. BTW the paintjob is a metallic blue, silver combo. I wish i had a digital cam, maybe someday I'll get the old fashioned cam out and post some pics. All in all, this case is a good buy if you just put some effort into and it customize it to your liking.
