hmm i can't find the deal anywhere. The reviews I have read for the 4Q Full tower are nice mostly good. I'm building a new system shortly and want to know what would be good for overclcokign a duron 700@950. I was thinking about the enlight 7237 case but I don't know if its good enough for this kind of overclocking. This case seems a bit better but I would wnat something good. I also don't ahve much to spend, so i don't know what to get. I only have about $80 to spend. What do you guys think? any suggestions?

If this is the crappiest case you've ever seen, you haven't seen many now have you?

I know there are other pretty bad cases, but at this price, you qould expect some better quality, like actualy being able to screw the HDs in without having to hold it up, and not neededing to take out 6 oddly placed screws to take the bezel off.

ss284: thanks for your completely unhelpful comments! For a full tower case it's pretty cheap. Unless you open your computer up every 5 minutes I don't see what the complaints are?

I meant to say $50 plus shipping, will be changed.

Please tell me what the purpose of your post is. If you don't like the case, then don't buy it. Maybe someone else does like it. It is responses like this that causes people not to post what they think are good deals. When that happens, we all lose.

I'm confused about why you need a good case to overclock. Doesn't it just hold the junk in there, what would it matter what it looks like. I'm thinking of building a clear case using 1/4 in. plexiglass like the how-to over at geeknews says.

Anyone convince me not to??

ss248 - Thanks for you opinion....you can shut up now.

I have this case and it is wonderful. Once I built my system I have not had to open it up and change things around, so it doesn't matter where the scres for the front bezel are located. The case has tons of room, and lots of pre-cut holes for extra fans (although you should cut the metal out for the fans for better air flow). I highly recommend this case for people with lots of drives, etc...

It is a decent case, but decent is all you can say. I found the drawbacks to be that the front of the case is a really cheesy plastic thing and the side panels are really thin metal. I was building a system for marents and my Mom accidentally kicked it as it was leaning up against a wall. Bent the damn thing. I was able to unbend it since it wasn't creased, but still . . .

But, other than that, it's not too bad. And at $50.00 bucks it's hard to beat.

AndyTriboletti, a plexiglass case won't provide any RF shielding. You could experience interference with all sorts of radio/TV/wireless products. Instead, you might want to try some of that tranparent aluminum which Scotty manufactured in that Star Trek movie where they travel back in time to 20th century earth to save the whales.

Im telling the truth. I have seen this deal posted over and over, and Though I know the price is great, the qulity of the thing is horrible. its edges are not totally round, %.25 drives do not fit easily, you need to take off the bezel everytime you isntall a 5.25 drive. The power supply only has 5 connectors. And the kind of people that build their own systems usually take them apart when they upgrade.
The slideout motherboard base is flimsy, and bends unless you isntall your add in cards. The rattles, and its just horrible quality.
and Oh yeah, I ALREADY purchased this junk. Ended up selling it to someone on egay.

there is No sense of quality in this case. INwin, Antec, Addtronics and a bunch of others are of much better construction that this thing. And the inwin fulltower with a 300Watt PS is only slightly more.

these are helpful comments, As Im telling possible buyers that its not worth their money. Its fine for the person who isnt soo tech savvy, but for real overclockers, and comptuer Gurus, this thing isnt worth it.

Yeah well if ya bought one and had first hand experience with it, then I guess maybe it is cheesy..? Still not bad for cheap. I' think I'd have to recommend going with a better case though also. I use an INWIN full tower 300w and it has been great. To the guy wondering why you might want a certain case because you are overclocking....well some cases provide much better cooling and/or more spaces to put fans in than others. That would be one thing to look for.

Listen ss248, I'm not going to get into a pissing war with you in the forums !!!

I, too, an avid overclocker and the system is working just fine for me with an Abit KT7, AMD 750 OC'd to 950, I have an 80mm fan in the front, to 80mm fans in the top rear of the case, 3 80 mm fans in the LH side door.

I didn't have any problems installing 2 cd drives and a DVD into the 5 1/4 bays, the HD rack took my IBM 30gb ATA100 drive fairly easily (it didn't slide easily into the rack). You're opinions are your opinions, and so are mine...But you don't have to post thousands of time in the same thread saying this case is junk. This thread isn't that long, and if someone is really looking for a case, then they should read all the posts in the thread before just jumping on the first deal they see, or completly pass over a deal just becuse one person calls the case CR@P. Let the users decide for themselves....If they don't like it (like you didn't)....there's always e-bay.

The Deal

The reviews I read for it, all said it was a very nice case, with a couple of problems. I'd rather get a crapper case and spend the 50 bucks I saved on 128MB of ram, than get a better case.

I called it crap once, just once, and then a bunch of newer members immediately tell me to shut up. Ive only seen one, possibly two other people state that the case isnt that bad, and also telling me to shut up. I am entitled to my opinions right? And when people disagree, I have to right to argue.I still stand by what I have to say, And yes, so far its only me that is calling the case crap, but only one other is saying its ok.

Oh and also, A case stays with you longer than just about every component of a computer, with the possible exception of the monitor. Plus they dont loose their value quickly over time. Its worth it to spend another 25 dollars for a better case.

WHATEVER SS248..... I said you have YOUR OPINION, and I have mine.

To anyone looking.....Buy it or not...There are reviews that show this case is good (not the best, becuase the $50 pricetag would be a steal).

It's a computer case...if you have a limited budget then this MAY be the one for you. If you have extra discressionary income to spend, then by all means go for the Antec, Supermicro, and Lian cases. The choise is completely yours, you always get what you pay for. Since this one is $50, don't expecy to be getting the same quality as in the Antec cases, that's why Antec cases are close to ( or over ) $100.

Maybe if you had been a little more tactful in the first place, ss284, people would not be so mad with you. Your second post explaining why you hate the case was much more informative.
