What's the scoring for yards? I've always done 1 pt for ever 25 yards.

And what do WR's and RB's get for yards? I've always done 6 for TD's and 1 point for every 10 yards rushing/receiving.

I do 4 pts per TD for QB's. Has always been that way in most of our leagues.

We had 6/-2 last year for Passing TDs. I dont mind changing it to 4/-1 as that seems to be the standard and my other leagues are using the same. What we can do is have a bonus: 2 pts for over 300 yards passing and 3 pts for over 400 yards passing.

I've never seen a league where the defense gets 2 points for a sack. They're really not that rare. I think it should be 1.

I agree. A sack is a rare, no doubt, but no where near the game changer that a turnover is. A team can still get a first down after a sack. After a fumble recovery or INT -- not so much.

The only time a sack should be worth 2 points is if you play with individual defensive players and you get credit for the sack (1 pt) and the tackle (1 pt).

I also like 6 pts for a passing TD. It's the default scoring method on the NFL.com/CBS leagues I've played on and it's worked well so far.

Regarding stats, both leagues have been changed to default scoring for Passing TDs: 4 pts and -1 for INTs. However, two bonus have been added: 2 pts for 300 yards and 3 pts for 400+ yards passing. Should be a nice compromise to both sides.

Yahoo does not let you know the draft position until 30 minutes in advance.

I am willing to randomize it and set it up manually in Yahoo if people want to know their draft positions in advance (I know I do). It makes drafting much easier with a certain draft strategy and it will go faster.

I am thinking of how to do it an impartial way. Ideas welcome. I will set up a key, and send a list of letters/numbers to a participant in the other league who will randomize those letters/numbers in 1-12 order. It will be matched to the key of players to determine the order. So its impartial.
