His real mistake was to troll something with far longer arms than himself.

The guy is medically and functionally impaired by some sort of mental health issue that results in him being a hugely obnoxious troll during any sort of human interaction. If you actually look at him, it is pitiful. He worked his way up to being a hedge fund manager and CEO of this huge biotech company and then trolls his way straight into prison. The crimes he committed, while being crimes, would not have been prosecuted had he just stfu and stopped trolling people.
He will go down in history as one of the biggest trolls of all time. I am confident he will find a way to troll the media from prison. It will not end until he is dead (legitimate near-term possibility).
In my Christian upbringing I find this statement still rings true.Pharma hasn't duped me into anything. I don't take prescription drugs and never have. Maybe that is the big problem in society; believing that you need some sort of drugs to survive?

Barely an hour after the verdict, he was livestreaming on YouTube from his apartment, holding a beer and predicting that the sentence would be "close to nil." He said that if he does go to prison, it will probably be a "Club Fed" where he will "play basketball and tennis and Xbox" for a couple of months.
Oh my -
This guy is such an arrogant PoS. I really hope the judge who is going to sentence him sees that video, and thinks, "oh really now? We'll just see about that." If I was the prosecutor here, I would call this to the judge's attention as proof of his total lack of remorse and why he needs a harsh sentence.
Common thief?People hate him a lot more than he deserves in the scheme of things. He's like the common thief who smart mouths the judge and gets the max sentence. I mean, even though it's the judge who's wrong in that case, that's not how plebs will see it.
Here's hoping he does several years, and not in a country club prison.

Common thief?
He's convicted of securities fraud involving 11 Million.
Two counts of securities fraud and a single count of conspiracy
What is the judge wrong about? I don't see anything the judge said or did in that article.
A pretty sizable chunk of wall st is culpable if you try hard enough. If anything he's more akin to the common speeder or jaywalker.
We're not talking about Wall Street. We're talking about a guy who was convicted by a jury for securities fraud of 11 million.
You think he just needs his hand slapped?
BTW, I asked what was the judge wrong about? You never answered.
A pretty sizable chunk of wall st is culpable if you try hard enough. If anything he's more akin to the common speeder or jaywalker. The only reason it got this far was his inability to keep his mouth shut.
I hope to god youre trolling, if so, sorry to everyone else for feeding him.
Where is that written? It's very much talking about a typical wall st. exec, only one who couldn't keep him mouth shut thus digging his own grave.
The judge in the hypothetically situation mentioned is wrong for sentencing based on emotional ego (ie to "punish" him) instead of common law.
Where is that written?
Martha Stewart was actually an apt comparison. The difference is in how the two conducted themselves during trial and sentencing. Also, The Honorable James Comey Himself didn't do the prosecution.
You mean where I stated I hope the sentencing judge sees it?What written? If you mean the hypothetical example it's the post you quoted.
You mean where I stated I hope the sentencing judge sees it?
Well, one of his guilty counts carries a possible 20 years. So that's a possibility.
The judge has leeway but anything this asshole says can be used against him.
He calls it a witch hunt and says he'll be getting off lightly which only shows he's unrepentant. If he was remorseful over what he did the judge could
act accordingly and pass a lower sentence, as judges do in many cases. Opening up your pie hole and spouting the drivel that he did will not help lower his sentence.
