Tempting fate so brazenly on the heels of a guilty verdict seems....extremely unwise at a minimum.

I wasn't talk about the judge in this case but rather the one our hypothetical thief/speeder smart mouths.
But now that we're on the topic, the judge is supposed to pass a sentence commensurate with common practice under common law. Since the common practice with these sort of execs is don't prosecute them, the point seems clear enough.
Steal 11 million and get away scot-free? No.
Not saying it doesn't/hasn't happened but these sort of cases won't be dismissed anymore.
Live feed of future prison inmate Martin Shkreli gloating about how he doesn't think he'll go to jail, but if he does he will "play xbox and tennis for 4 months, at worst"

Why the hell is he allowed to just go home after being found guilty? Is the judge just too lazy to spent 5 minutes reading the sentencing guidelines?
I don't know where you get this "common practice" stuff from, but it is a total fiction.I wasn't talk about the judge in this case but rather the one our hypothetical thief/speeder smart mouths.

There are federal sentencing guidelines but they are a whole lot precise and don't have any sort of "common practice" standard.
The entire point of common law is to ensure everyone gets the same punishment. Pretty obvious this typical wall st guy isn't, unless he's guilty of mouthing off too much.
i'm not young at all. I'm closing in on 60 and still don't take any drugs, prescription or OTC. I might take an aspirin once a year or so, if needed. In my Christian upbringing I find this statement still rings true.
There by the grace of God go I. You should be thankful if what you say is true, and/or you are young. You'll see.
Yea, people suffering from toxoplasmosis should rub some dirt in it an walk it off. Lazy, weak bastards.i'm not young at all. I'm closing in on 60 and still don't take any drugs, prescription or OTC. I might take an aspirin once a year or so, if needed.
imo, prescription drugs are a scourge on society and many people don't actually need them. For some, or many, they are nothing more than a panacea to those who think they need to swallow something to improve their condition and who don't want to take the more difficult road to improve their condition. It's a ruse and it sells very well because people are inherently lazy and want to take the simple route. "Why should I exercise when I can swallow a pill instead?"
I'm surprised he hasn't been offered position in the White House yet. He'd fit right in.BTW the guy with the punchable face is buying up URLs of reporters names that were mean to him.
No link ATM but I'll track it down later today.
