Okay, at SR Systems they're advertising a $469 System, for $0. Specfically LINK. I ordered it, and sent them $5.01, because the $5 was for shipping, and it wouldn't let me send $0 ammount, with $5 shipping. I didn't get any response from them for awhile, so I called them up, and then I got a reply from the e-mail I send a while back.

"The only amount we received in Paypal was for $5.01 on April 17 and it didn?t say what the item was for. Feel free to call me toll free at: (888) 640-XXXX or respond via email when you transferred the remaining balance of the $469.00 Barebone System and we?ll ship that with in two business days. We appreciate the order and your business. "

What should I do? It's only $5, massively hot deal, or uber rip-off of the company, where's the line? I remember somewhere selling Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB models for like $200 earlier, which was quickly changed. Where's the line? Should I draw it? I'm not sure if I checked out wrong or what, either. The purchase isn't in my "previously purchased items" part when I login.

Am I the only person who reads this as they want him to send the remainder of the $496 dollars ($490.99) to get the machine sent to him?

It's gotta be a mistake in the website...becuase there's no limit on how many you can get...Im not even gonna waste the 5 bucks on it, because they will probly ask you for the rest of the money before they send it....and since they already have your CC, they might even just charge you, and send you the comp. Hope it works out for you guys who paid already.

not gonna touch this one. I've seen "possible" price mistakes, where things look too good to be true, and sometimes arent, however, there is no friggin way that they are going to honor that price. If you are lucky, they may sell whatever inventory they have on hand at cost, but don't be upset when you get the email that says that they are sorry about a price mistake, and that they don't want to go bankrupt and honor it.

Well, I tried this with a virtual CC # and after a few tries it came up with my billing info and some other persons shipping address. I smell scam. This is the guy and the address that keeps popping up in the shipping info

Why is this even called a price mistake? Clearly, they mean for it to be a $469 system (labeled "SRS $469 Barebone System"). The fact that you can put 1, 3, or more in your cart and only be charged shipping is just a fluke. They haven't mistakenly priced it low, they've just screwed up their billing.

Pay the rest, or leave them alone. This seems cut and dry...
