LOL they are using their EBT to pay, indirectly of course. The money that they have can be used to buy lottery tickets because the EBT will pay for food.

So our wonderful government run lottery system is being aided by our wonderful government run EBT system. Miraculously, both seem to be getting bigger and more successful. The state I live in has been bragging about how much money they've raised.

I thought Powerball had to be over 175Mx2 to be worth it (since it costs $2/ticket). Mega had to be over 175M.

Considering federal income tax, it's never truly 'worth it'. The advertised jackpot is also a 20-year annuity with a cash payout option that's much smaller.

What will it go up to if no one wins sat?

It says someone purchases 4 shares ($10). Should be ($10/share x 4 = $40).

Also, purchase should be "purchased"
