after you cancelled the membership, they will send a letter to ask you back for a better term on the deal. you get 5 DVDs for $0.49 each and aditional tow bonus DVDs for $14.99 and $9.99 then you only have two to buy at regular club price in the next two years. not a bad deal.

Is this offering any different as related to commitment than the junk mail spamming 5 DVDs for 49 cents each plus $1.99 each for shipping (also via CH)? And they offer a limited but greater choice selection, among which are the 5 dvds mentioned in this thread.

I submitted 2 orders so far. My first was a week back from fri through the red site and the second was monday through blue site.

I have never received any emails at all about the red site.

I received confirmation and approval emails from the blue site within one day.

I just called in and asked about status on the first account. The CSR told me I have 2 official account numbers right now. Apparently both of my memberships are active and they're processing the package. I checked the status on CH site for the red site account and it even lists a credit card charge.

So ti appears if you order from the red site, you will never receive an email until you get the enrollment package. This probably also means you won't even know your account number til you open the package. As for the blue membership, it appeasr you will get all the proper emails.

you can cancel on the website. if you don't want to receive dvds make sure you ask not to receive the 'director's selection' every month. i assume to send back the DVD, write 'return to sender' on the DVD box. thats what i did for BMG CDs.
