CH does not blacklist people who sign up for accounts, cancel, and sign up for more. People at DVD talk have been opening and closing dozens of accounts for years with no problem.

Good news. But, I had 4 accounts back in Nov. and Dec., cancelled all. Actually, I must have signed up for 6, but 2 or so didn't go through. Don't know why. My last one was with a different CC, made from a different phone and shipped to a different address. That cleared a day or so before they pulled the plug on the code. I signed up over the phone on one of these new codes twice, 2/7 and 2/8 and my card hasn't been charged. Kinda think it's not gonna happen.

Got charged twice on one of the memberships, emailed customer support, they were clueless, after couple of emails, I just filled out Amex dispute form online , got the second charge reversed in a day, a week later got another email from CH that they would investigate, if I were to provide them with statement indicating double charge, too late though, I think that Amex charges for returned payment about 25$ to the merchant. Amex's single use card numbers are the best for the deals with CH and their customer service is superb.

My CC got charged today for one of the two phone orders I did on 2/7 and 2/8, and I have no way of knowing which one it was but I figure it was the first. Will find out when I get it. Hopefully, the 2nd will go through too - same name, CC, phone used, address. I believe that when you order by phone you get no email confirmations. Your card gets charged and you get your shipment, followed by mailers, of course.

Are these codes still working, any of them at any of the sites (red or blue) or by phone?

i got a raincheck for dragonwings. i guess my evil plans for reselling it and making back most of my $25 aren't original. seeing as its backordered and all. any good replacement suggestions? thanks!

Do I need to have a 11-digit member #? I don't have one, and the CH numbers I've dialed ask for it and I can't get past it.

My 2nd order arrived today. The first seems to have fallen through the cracks. Do any of the codes work anymore?

A raincheck is a blessing in disguise. Bad news: You don't get the DVD you wanted. Good news: You can now pick from the entire CH catalog for a replacement, not just the titles available for enrollment.

Ripped from page 4: Log into the DVD Club, then go to CLUB HELP>13. Can't find your answer here>Go to the Contact Us page. From the first dropdown, select "Cancel Membership." A popup will appear stating that the process is now automated. Follow that link, jump through the hoops, and you're done.

Anyway, I waited until the DVDs came before I cancelled my account but I guess you could cancel now. I also denied the director's selection they they would auto ship just in case.

I guess that means they are sending an application or something and then if they feel like it they will send my DVDs? I think it is a lost cause, I'll just call them up and order using one of the codes for my previous 2 orders. If I end up with double of everthing I can always sell them or give them as gifts I suppose.

Got 5, and waiting on 10 DVD's now.... I don't know if I'm going to get approved or not.... And... I want those dvd's... I hate having to put ownership of those titles on hold while I wait for CH to make up its mind. Then again.... blockbuster... dvd burner? Maybe I'll just make some temporary evaluation copies while I wait...

Just got my order today from a phone order using the old code on 2/18 ..... I also placed an online order that night as well..... Only got the email confirmation...... Thanks for the great deal!

When you say "old code" do you mean cd or 4d?
