The only people who could possibly believe this are westerners who've watched too many Japanese influenced movies/shows.

IMO in general native Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese, etc tend to have quicker tempers and will show it in public moreso than Americans. This is a broad generalization of course and you'll get people on every end of the spectrum, but I've been amazed how quickly some tempers get triggered - completely unlike American-born asians.
