5 Long Island Teens Arrested after throwing frozen Turkey through Windshield, driver critical 11-20-04

11-20-2004 Five Arrested in Turkey-Hurling Incident

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. - Five teenagers were arrested in the hurling of a frozen turkey that smashed through a motorist's windshield, critically injuring her.

Police said Ryan Cushing, 18, threw the turkey from a car he and the other teens were riding in Saturday. It smashed through the car window of a 44-year-old woman who was driving in the other direction. She was in critical condition at Stony Brook University Hospital.

Cushing was arrested on charges of first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, forgery, criminal mischief and criminal possession of stolen property. He and the other teens allegedly stole a credit card to buy the turkey at a supermarket.

Ronkonkoma is in the approximate geographic center of New York's Long Island, about 50 miles east of New York City.

Long Island is nearly as Blue as New York City, not quite but close.

I was thinking more along the lines that these youngsters not handling the loss to the 50.9% of the Religious Radical & Corporate Right whackos very well.

Point taken. Now you try and explain to me how you've somehow gotten to the conclusion that kids who are obviously already criminals have some sort of political motivation for commiting another crime. Also, doesnt' it say "allegedly" used stolen credit cards to buy the turkey?

"Allegedly" is now a meaningless word.

Take for example the guy that just pled guilty to dumping 334 bodies and giving the families cement ashes. It still says "Allegedly".

Sadaam "Allegedly" had WMD, guess we'll never know and will remain "Allegedly" forever as well.

Okay, you've managed now twice to skirt the real issue behind my posts. You want to focus on a stolen credit card, and the use of the word allegedly. Now tell me, in plain english, how this crime was supposedly politically motivated, as stated in your original post.
