Ok apparently you have to search for the item you want using the button and then check out. Showed up for me.

The discount won't show up until you get to the last page of checkout. Coupons always work like that on Amazon.

That part is obvious. What I did initially was install the button, go to my cart, tried to check out but it wasn't showing at the last page of check out. I removed the item from my cart, searched for it using the button, added and it then showed up.
