$5 off $5, $10 off $10 at Office Depot stores

If you have access to a newsapaper today, and have an Office Depot store in town, there's an ad for 2-day specials that has a coupon for $5 off of a $5 purchase. Valid 10/13-10/14. Also, with any purchase (store) on those 2 days, you get a coupon for $10 off $10 which is valid 10/15-10/31.

Restrictions: "Not valid for purchases on gift cards, postage stamps, notebook computers, desktop computers, configure to order computers, HP ink and toner. Photocopies/reproductions not valid.

The ad has 50pk CD-Rs (638342) for $4.99 - add a filler and, voila! Free CD-Rs!

I bought the 50pk cd-rs from today's ad at $4.99plus a $.25 filler. Total $.26 after coupon and tax. My husband has a copy of the paper from work and will get another 50pk later today. 100 CD-Rs free with no rebates makes me a happy Hot Dealer!

The 10 off 10 printed out at the register and, unfortunately, it isn't valid for technology items.

Hmm, today was a good hot dealin' day. I spent a grand total of $1.18 at Office Depot on a box of 12 cheapy pens, a 4-pack of ball-point pens, a 6 pack of mechanical pencils, 5 binders, a twix and a cherry pepsi, and left the store with two 10 off 10 coupons that start tomorrow. I also got 2 polo shirts from Old Navy for 1.97 apiece. :beer:

Went to Office Depot today to ship via UPS and when I was done they handed me a $10 off a $10 purchase. There are some exclusions, but not that many. I bought some ink for my Waterman pen $13 buck - $10. Great deal.

Here is the real good part of it. At the register, once you check out, they give you another one!

They are good until October 31st.

Anyone know if the Vivitar 6330 camera advertised as part of this two day sale is any good. I had been watching for a discounted Canon with no success but a digital camera under $100 is pretty cheap.

Edit: After finding a little more product information I decided against this camera, mainly for the reason that it uses Lithium Ion batteries. I want to stick with a camera that uses AA batteries since they are cheap or you can use rechargeable.

What I got with one $10 off coupon:
my store had this clearanced for $20. Used the $10 and the clerk took $3 off from returning an ink cartridge. Shes said she wasn't supposed to do both and I didn't ask her to, she just did it anyway. So I got the $49 paper cutter for $7.

Oh, the register spit out $10 off $50 and 10% off UPS shipping coupons as well.
