I love how it mentions Danny Glover in Saw and in the next clause talks about the token black guy in Predator. Hey shithead, Danny Glover was the lead in predator 2 and certainly survived the film. If you're going to cherry pick to prove your point, at least make it somewhat less obvious.

Predator 2 Danny Glover survives a "horror" movie all the way to the end and he's neither will smith nor eddie murphy. Same for all the lethal weapon movies.
Cabin in the Woods had the refer dork survive until the end as well.
There are actually quite a few horror movies where the black characters now survive or the least expected characters make it through.
