I was in KB Toys this morning and they had 50% off ALL video game accessories (Gamecube, XBOX, PS2, GBA, etc...) and 50% off lots of good games as well (State of Emergency, Metal Gear Solid 2... etc)

Some good deals i remember:

$19.99 XBox Controller (Microsoft)
$12.49 Gamecube Controller (Nintendo) <--- Price DROP!!
$4.99 Gameboy Advance Carrying Case
$14.99 State of Emergency (PS2)

The store i went to (Coral Springs, FL) had a CRAPLOAD off everything in stock...

The type S controller is just a smaller version of the behemoth sized controllers that they originally came out with. Much more ergonomic than those god forbidden original controllers.

At my store I had 3 different opinions on what the sale covered from 3 different employees. One said it only covered what was marked 50% off...one said the 50% off only covered Dreamcast accessories and anything else that was already marked down to 50% off...and one said that it was anything. They were all standing next to each other when they were having this conversation too...quite funny. The one that was checking me out (my purchase, not me) wasn't going to take 50% off a Dreamcast game, because it was already marked down on the sticker, but the other employee told her she had to. (Not to mention that the game was sitting on top of a big red sign that said "50% the LOWEST TICKETED PRICE"). So make sure you're getting the deal you're supposed to be getting.

Just called KBToys in Tallahassee Mall - 50% off sale on selcet titles of PS2 and other system games. THanks so much - I greatly appreciate it. Why not change the subject tile? They read the list to me - plenty of titles. Call your store for exact prices and list. Does not apply to contorollers and memotry cards.

Great thread for those picking up their PS2's and Xboxes thanks to the price cut.

Last night picked up the following:

Metal Gear Solid 2: $24.99
Jak and Daxter: $24.99
SSX Tricky: $19.99

There are about 15-20 games on their 50% clearance list (didn't have a flyer, just a printout behind the counter, so I don't remember the ones I didn't get).

Unfortunately for me (but maybe lucky for you) Devil May Cry is one on the list, but my local store was out. I'm gonna try some others, but I'm not holding my breath. Besides this game being OOS, my local store about 5-10 copies (!) of nearly every other game, and at least 1 of them.

Again, the 50% clearance does not apply to PS2 controllers or memory cards (but these have officially been reduced in price to 24.99 at most retailers anyway). I believe there weren't any Xbox games at 50%, but since I wasn't really looking, I may be wrong.

Think I may head back just in case I missed something I really want but didn't realize...

Xbox accessories are 50% off but, no games
Some PS2 Games are 50% off but, no accessories except some generic rf adaptors
PS1 accessories and some games are 50% off.
Dreamcast accessories and some games are 50% off.

Wow, great deal! I grabbed the Xbox DVD Controller for ~$17 and a Original Controller for $19.99. Thanks for posting this deal. It came exactly when I needed it!

Unfortunately it doesn't look like KB Toys carries the Xbox High Definition Adapter. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I checked two stores and all they seem to carry is the RF Adapter.

hey, thanks for the heads up.
got 2 xbox controllers yesterday.
unfortunately they don't have the new "S" controller, @ KB but you can take it to the local EBX or gamestop or where ever, you may be able to exchange for one. (maybe a moral issue for you, as seen on the " Retail XBox Package w/1 Microsoft Controller + 3 S Controllers --> $260 (possibly cheaper!!)"who knows...)
with the 2 that i got, i ended up w/ a new S conroller for $1.06 more.. (for some reason EBX charges 40.99 for em, better than sears i suppose, which retail for $49.99), and am keeping one.

i might actually get some game cube controllers too, even tho i don't have the system yet ^^12.50 for a official brand controller rocks!! (i'm still eyeing the Q, but it'll take a lot of saving to get to it =\ at about 500 a pop. (when's that price gonna drop???
