50% off paint at Sherwin-Williams through 10/31 for relatives of SW employees

This month, Sherwin-Williams employees and their relatives are eligible for the following discounts:
50% off paint, stain, and associated products
40% off ladders
20% above cost on spray equipment
15% above cost on decorative products
25% off list on in-stock wall coverings

Employee family discount rules:
A. The Employee Family Discount is intended for the family members' personal use.
B. Family members include: parents, in-laws, children, siblings, and grandparents of the employee
C. The Employee Family Discount card must be shown each time the family member makes a purchase at a Sherwin-Williams Store.
D. The Employee Family Discount is valid at all Sherwin-Williams Stores and Automotive Branches.
E. Commercial use of products purchased with the employee discount is prohibited.

And they call that an employee discount? How much do they rip the regular customer off for retail :Q

Lemme put it like this: I buy about $40K worth of paint from ICI Dulux (Glidden) per year.......5 gallons of bottom grade flat paint costs me about $29.00. To walk in off the street and buy it, it's $66 plus tax.

Sherwin WIlliams is even higher, I think, but I've never bought their paint, so I can't say for certain.

I spend close to $40k a year a Sherwin and my prices on paint products are all below 50% off retail but they tend to rape you on the sundries so that's the only place I can see the employee discount savings.
