50% off video games

Starting January 26 most, if not all F.Y.E. stores will have a luquidation sale (50%) on all PS2, DS, Xbox, Xbox360, PSP, and Game Cube games and accessories.
Consoles are only 10%.

PS3, Wii and PC games are not included.

I don't really know what to give you as proof. I work at a FYE near me, and right now all of the games and accessories are 30% off, and Saturday they go to 50% off.

Why not pick up super paper mario and Double Dash for GC (Backwards compatible with Wii), or a few of the hundred+ or so of the good PS2 titles (assuming you have a PS3 that can play them)

big 50% off software&accessories signs all around the games. hardware still 10%. this was highland mall, austin.

Stopped by the FYE at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills Michigan and they only had 50% off PC games & 20% off strategy guides. Picked up a few PC titles...

I stopped by the Burbank, CA FYE and I guess FYE is no longer going to be selling New video games (as opposed to Used or Previously Owned) so they are selling all New games for 50% off. There are no New Wii or PS3 games for the discount only because there are no New Wii or PS3 games being sold by them.

The pickings were pretty slim but the were NOT jacking up prices and then selling them for a discount which would suck. I got Viva Pinata for 360 for $10 and a couple of PSP games for $10 each too. I was hoping to get Halo 3 but they were nowhere to be seen. Most "hot" titles were only available "used" and the discount didn't apply.

Hope this helps. There probably some good deals depending on the store.
