1. Anyone know what type of disks these are (Supermedia Branded but...)?
2. Anyone have direct experience with this Yahoo store?

I just bought my first DVD-R recorder and am concerned now about the quality/cost of the media after reading beuceu threads here and on the Net. Thanks for the deal though and I hope it works out because it sure beats $2+/disk in other stores!

I have purchased from them several times. Same day shipping and timely emails. I would recommend them wholeheartly.

I don't know about that media however. I will stick to Riteks and Accus.

I strongly suggest you go to http://dvdrhelp.com to read about this media. It is most likely 1X and not very compatible. SuperMedia Store even lists very limited compatibility with players and recorders on their own site. It looks like there are no really good deals for DVD-R media right now. Who knows what Ritek is doing. We all may have to bite the bullet and wait for something cheaper to come out (6X or 8X burners/media?).
