50 spinmax CDRs for $2.99 - no rebate

OfficeDepot flyer today. Still rings up at the register @$14.99 but they price
corrected to $2.99 when I pointed out that the flyer said "instant rebate".
Claims to be 700 MB/32X

No limit specified either - I picked up ten of 'em.

My ad said "instant" as well, but when I showed up, there was a big sign right at the front of the store indicating this was a misprint/error and that it is instead a mail-in rebate. I confirmed with a live person. This is in Silver Spring, MD. Oh well, at least it wasn't TY (well, it could have been, I just couldn't find "made in XXX" marking anywhere on the spindle).

last batch I bought(2x50pk) they sucked the bigone..even a Sony choked on'em.. as always YMMV...yeah I know ..Imation pkgs them up..but they aren't Imation labeled..

Is that Officemax or Office Depot? I'm just wondering if someone could do a PM to Officemax with the OD flier?

BTW.. I tried to buy 10 today and there was a big, yellow apology notice pasted to the counter at the checkouts basically saying, sorry, but it's a misprint and we can't sell it to you for that price.

well i'm working a deal right now, but i want to see if it can get it as hot as this would be with an instant rebate. ymmv though, doesn't mean that some stores won't let people get it with that price... although it being a ld deal (maybe?) corporate will have the emails out there...
