Register,then on the second page,go to "shopping" without filling in any info. Then click on the Play Everyday link and then reload the page that follows until you win. It took me only about 20 re-loads. Hope they honor it.

Alta Vista has announced that there is some sort of error in the system. If you early entrants are lucky, they may honor some of the winning entries. Anyone who tries, now, knows that this is no longer valid. Do not start another thread to complain about it.

Well, I couldn't wait to see if I won, so I called AltaVista's customer service department. I told them that I hit refersh and won, but the lady was pretty rude and said that all of these accounts are going to be cancelled. She said that since it was the 4th of July weekend, no one was there to fix the site, but it will be fixed on Wednesday and they're going to send out an email cancelling everything
