50pk CDR's for 20bucks -Warm?-

I just got back from a B&M Staples and they had a 50pk of Imation Cd-r's on sale for 19.94.

Cdr-Identifier says:
Disc: CMC
Recording Layer: Phtalocyanine

The discs are 80min/700 MB. Staples's website has them listed for 29.97.

I've been using these for sometime and haven't had any problems. My burner is only 4x however, so I haven't been able to test out how well the work for 10x and so on.

I've seen those, thats why this was rated as a warm. But Im not sure how much to trust those Cd-rs. Prime never stuck me as a company with high qualtiy cd media.

Would you happen to know how well they work for audio? I had a set of PNY brand discs that I couldn't burn .cda to.

Your local Micro-Center has the Kingston 80 minute CDRs @ 16.99 for 100 discs.

i know that imation work for audio in my sony cd player..a better deal is the 200 cdr prime from officemax, which is free after rebate as outlawwolf, mentioned above.

Why don't people get the Memorex 16x 80 minute disks from best buy for 18 bucks and get a 8 dollar rebate. 50 good quality 80 minute disks for 10 bucks is a steal, especially at 16x.

phat - it's the only brand I use. Better than Memorex and a lot of those other crappy brands.

This is a warm deal because OM had that same 50 spindle for $14.99 last week, and the 100 spindle for $29.99 the week before

Last deal was at CompUSA.
100 TDK cdrs 650mb/Taiyo Yuden/Made in Japan for about $10 after $20 MIR.

The Omax deal is the best IF you can actually find the CD-Rs, or want to order them.

The current deal at CompUSA is currently the best B&M deal other than Omax, but you have to go today. 25packs of Made In USA TDK CDRs (read: probably NOT Ritek) for $5 each with a $10 rebate on each pack. Buy as many as you want at that price (one at a time), but you are limited to one $10 rebate per person/address. End result (even if you only get one rebate)= buy two 25 packs for a total of $10, send in one $10 rebate, get 50 TDK CD-Rs for free. This is posted elsewhere here, but I figured a reminder couldn't hurt.
