Looks like 24X in the photo. Don't know if they are Ty. Was $17.99 now $10.99. This is the picture in the ad.

Not a bad deal if you want to nab some TYs with no hassle of rebates. I am still glad i found that 100 spindle of Fuji TYs from BB the other week.

Long as they say "Made in Japan", they should be golden. And they should be able to burn up to 48x as far as I have heard.

Not to thread crap, but a word of advice: If you want to get something at K-Mart that's on sale, you better plan on being at the store when it opens on the first day of the sale. I've completely given up on them out of frustration. The last time they had oil on sale (having missed out on the previous sale by coming the second day) I went at noon. They were sold out of course.

K-Mart will give you a raincheck, which I've done several times. They never got the product back in store, but will instead offer you a small discount on any product in that department.

Fuji is really good about rebates, but it is a pain.

Anyways, I have yet to see a spindle of Fuji CDRs that have not been TY. As someone mentioned, made in Japan=TY, but easier way to tell is the opaque screw on cap that you can clearly see in that linked picture.

Again, very good deal on one of the best if not the best CDRs around.

Just an F.Y.I. folks: New fuji packaging is starting to show up on store shelves...No more screw cap. They still say 'Made in Japan', though.

This is hot. I've sent in four Fuji rebates since October and received none of them. Fuji rebates = suck. I'll lay out less cash at KMart. Too bad this starts on a Friday if it's true about them selling out fast.

Yep... all FujiFilm CDRs are made in Japan (aka Taiyo Yuden).

Ive gotten every rebate I've sent them (1 or 2 per month). Just do their online registration thing - you get to track them AND they come quicker.

Well, I just checked, and the two I did in my name (dated 10/10 and 12/15) both show status as New. It's like they don't get the mail I send. I have two others I did in family members' names and they haven't received their money, either. I don't get it. What can I possibly be doing wrong that would cause four bad rebates? Problem is, I don't know if I still have the copies from October to resubmit.

I think I'll be going to KMart tomorrow!

Same here, I have really bad luck when it comes to rebates. I registered online at myrewards.info and since then submitted two rebates one about a month ago and another 2 weeks ago, both of them show status: new bastards... Or maybe my local postal office just throws out every rebate letter...

Anyway, 10.99 for 50 pack of TY's is a good deal, not really hot, but definitely warm, I'll go tomorrow pick one up before college.

In the meantime I'm gonna bump the Free/cheap cd-rs 1/5 OfficeMax, Best Buy, Staples,Office Depot, Circuit City thread. There were a lot of cries demanding Fuji's but none realized that 50pack of Memorex on sale at Cirsuit City were also TY. I went there and picked one spindle for 14.99 and they printed out $10 MIR... So if you aren't afraid of dealing with MIR I suggest you pick those - only 10 cents per quality cd-r IS hot...

Good deal, thanks. I like rebates, but hate small rebates... I don't mind the hassles involved with a $50 rebate (trip to post office, return receipt for mail, scanning everything before sending, etc.), but it's annoying to have to scan everything, go to the post office, etc for a $10 rebate. (not to mention the followup call, resubmit, etc. if you don't get your rebate in a reasonable amount of time... which so far, knock on wood, has not been a problem.)

4 fuji rebates submitted, and I've gotten 0 for 4 rebate checks. One check was supposedly mailed out 6 weeks ago, haven't seen it. One submission was approved 6 weeks ago, still no check for that one either. One submission mailed a tick over 5 weeks ago, still shows status as "new", same for one I mailed in a couple weeks ago.

Love TY's but that riverton fulfillment center has yet to give me a rebate.

I just got my Fuji rebates this week. Both checks have a date of Dec. 16. I was told they were mailed out on that day when I called in late Dec. Maybe the Post Office is slow. I did not do it online because they were offline the first week in October. I have called numersous times to Fuji in the last year and asked how is(are) my rebate(s) doing(if it's been more then 8 weeks). I seem to get the same nice lady and she always tells me, "Oh, I have it right here. I'll mail it out today". I've always submitted the proper forms and mailed it in timely.

I have done the online form about 6 times and usually get the rebate within 4 weeks.

They do need to work on getting your money back to you faster if you don't do it online, otherwise I can't complain.

OfficeMax kills me. I bought the 100-pack of slim jewel cases the day after Thanksgiving and couldn't find the rebate in their little flyer they told me to take. Still haven't opened them. If I don't need them, I'll go back and get my $10.70. It's not much money, but it's money I wouldn't have spent had I known they wouldn't be free. I was on an impulse spree that evening. Gotta get some of it back while I can. . .

I had a hard time finding that one (and some others) too in that particular flyer. It is there though. It might be under a different brand name.

Nope. I was at K-Mart last Sunday. They had some Fujis that did not have the screw-on cap and were marked "Made in Taiwan".
