You definitely need to read reviews about these guys and decide do you want to deal with such an underperformer.
They are cheap but you can easily get a headache dealing with them. The complains about them are all over the web.
Try one small item only to avoid scam.

McGlen.com has the identical item for 2 dollars less including shipping according to Pricewatch. Zeus is not considered top quality like Crucial but it is a popular brand name and should have lifetime warranty.

I can't believe how DDR prices have dropped in the last few weeks.

They should be fine, just don't try to go much faster the spec of 133MHz FSB at CAS2.5.

We know that this forum serves purpose for inadequate sellers to promote themselves. I don't know if you are one or not but a little fresh air won't hurt the others.

Access Micro is known to be a big problem for the most of the people that made purchases from them. I only suggest you guys read about them elsewhere. McGlen is another name for them and under that name they are not doing any better.

As far as you are concerned, perhaps you are just ignorant about them. Nevertheless my warning stands. You know when you buy crap whether it is cheap or not, or when you buy a scam, that is no deal.

Can't help but to chime in here and say that I've used Access Micro and McGlen in the past a couple of times and I never had a problem with them. I got quite a lot of their Zeus PC133 chips about a year ago and they have performed without any problems.

If I needed DDR ram I would order from them again.

Personal experience is important. They are a member of BBB but not in good standings,

check out yourself.

Their bad reputation on web evaluation sites is also available, just do the search. All I am saying, be careful and don't be surprised when they soak you.

I've ordered dozens of times and always had a good experience. Moan & Bragg is just a click away barabas!

Then help them repair the reputation there, they don't have much left of it.

They have 3.5 stars of 5 on pricegrabber (with only 19 evaluations thus easier to fake) while their alter ego McGlen has 2 out of 5.

In my book that is a definite underperformer. $5 savings is not worth risk of $83.

I purchase 2 sticks of their Zeus 256M PC2100 3 weeks ago. Both were DOA. I tried both sticks on three different systems because I just couldn't believe they were dead. None of the three machines would POST with these sticks in them. I called and they said "they would need to start testing the memories better before sending them to the customer..." Well I didn't think it would be appropriate for a retailer to be "touching" the memory at all. I returned the sticks to McGlen/AccessMicro and requested a full refund. They promptly sent me new sticks under some new RMA number on their own. They told me to refuse receipt of the replacements and my refund would be on its way. Well, after 2 weeks and dozens of emails and phone calls, I still do not have my refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!!!!!

Some while back I payed overnight ship(ordered Sun. night) on a case and it didn't arrive til Thursday morning, they said they didn't recieve my order til Tuesday night so that was why...yeah right.:| I really think they ground it but theres no way I can prove it.:|

They (both accessmicro and mcglenn) have been low rated (by consumers) companies for at least a couple of years now. I placed two orders with them in the past, and after the troubles I went through with RMA, the highly overpriced shipping, and the lowsy customer service, I have decided never to buy from them again

This company is not worthy of your buisness. Even people that have had nice transactions should show that they care about how they "could" have been treated.

McGlen and AccessMicro do have good prices on some items, and they have pretty good service too. They try to make up for their good prices by padding them with high shipping though, so remember to factor that in.

I would not buy Zeus RAM, they must make their chips from dirt, not silicon... a coworker bought some Zeus RAM and it's made his box unstable, it reboots all the time now. He blames Windows of course because he doesn't want to admit he bought crappy RAM... I pulled the RAM and his box runs fine now.

AccessMicro does have a deal on a motherboard/ddr333 combo for a couple more days. You get a $40 rebate when you get a motherboard bundle until 5/16/02.
