BTW just out of curiosity I checked Newegg a minute ago and there you go, Diamond 5870 was in stock, for only $409 - cool heads are prevailing at Newegg or Diamond is smart enough to pass on the Dirt 2 deal? (I don't need it, that's for sure.)

Diamond's 5800 series cards are not supposed to come with Dirt 2. The specs of this card also confirms it.

Man I cant believe how costly these cards are getting.......I have been waiting a month now for the card as I ordered it from amazon when the XFX 5850 went briefly on sale for $266 with shipping according to Amazon it will arrive somewhere on Dec 25th O_O.......common ATI stock them up!!!

On side note it seems Neweggs arrival time has changed to 8th....on some cards

We have a new record high price.. I NEVER thought I'd see a 5870 go for that much. I was surprised when I saw one on Ebay yesterday for $550. Christmas is still three weeks away, wonder how much they'll be going for by then.

If someone offered me $600 for my brand new Vapor-X I'd probably take it.. wow.
