$595 Seiko Kenetic Auto-Relay $285 Anyone???

Ok, just got me a good deal on a watch. Everyone be sure to check out Ashford.com for a good deal on any watch. I'll use this Seiko for an example:

1. Go to ashford.com, find the watch you want and click near the bottom of the screen for a special offer to be emailed to you (this will be for 40% off MSRP).

2. Now proceed to checkout and use one of the great Ashford.com coupons, such as the 20% off. The $60 off $250 is also a nice one (email me if you can't find the coupons).

Seiko SMA003 $595-40%= 357-20%= $285.60

Did I mention they ship overnight FEDEX for free?!!! Even says you'll get free roses from the CEO if it doesn't make it overnight!

Anyway, sorry this isn't exactly a tech deal, but hey, I figured it might help some people out Christmas shopping.

Don't pay too much attention to MSRP on watches, no one ever pays or charges that. The 40% on that watch is pretty common. However the 20% off makes this a good buy.

True, but the Seiko is probably a better watch . I used to sell Guccie sunglasses, they were the worst sunglasses i have ever seen. Cheap plastic lenses and gold plate. THe price of vanity

I have a seiko perpetual calendar titanium and the best thing i've ever worn i my life. Thing is like a rock man. Been through so much and still looks new. Their watches are flawless and worth spending money on! So if you can get a good lea on one jump on it.

Seiko compared to Swiss watches (Swiss made) is like Toyota to BMW - it's good or maybe even better than a BMW, but it will never be it.

Velocitykid, the link to the special offer is at the bottom right hand corner of the product page itself. You have to browse to the actual item you want, then there should be a link near the add to cart button. You have to enter your email address, then they send you a "personal" offer via email that has a direct link for the deal back on their website. Hope that helped.

Yeah, that link to worldwatches is pretty good, I bought a Kinetic there, MSRP was 550, their price was 179. But I have a question, what's so good about Swiss Army watches? A friend of mine had a fake $5 one from Hong Kong, and some guy saw it and said nice watch (probably just cause he saw Swiss on it). =)

Yup... good good stuff. I did the same thing this summer at Ashford for my current Citizen Eco-Drive watch. Ashford even ships it in a nice bag inside the shipping box.

Be sure to check Ashford before buying from Worldwatches. With the coupon and discount, most of the watches I checked, including the Citizen Eco-Drive I bought for myself, are cheaper from Ashford. They also add another two years to your warranty. The free gift wrapping is also nice.

Dunno what the hell kinda Gucci you're gonna buy for 300 bucks. Seiko kenetics rock. I got a Actura Ken from Ashford last year and i love it.

The MSN deal just gives you another 20% coupon to use on the Ashford site. So if you already have a 20% coupon, MSN doesn't add anything to it (i.e., you can't stack the two promotions).

Another unusual watch is Rado, made of super-hard ceramics or metals. I know someone who wears one for work because it won't scratch.
