Is there a person on this planet who doesn't know that "Easter worshippers" are Christian? If so, who would that person be? A tribe in the Amazonian rain forest? I'm genuinely curious who you think is mislead by this description you think is so terrible.

If a bunch of Muslims were killed on Ramadan, or Jews on Passover would you call them Ramadan worshipers or Passover worshipers?

Yeh, go for the derisive & petty PC bullshit. It's like "Happy Holidays", right?

Maybe people who didn't give a care about us when things were much much worse but now are paying attention because the GOP decided we're a cautionary example of "liberal rule" should fuck off.
So you've taken an unbelievably tragic situation and reduced it down to yet another team playoff. Then decide that anyone that would like to see the situation improved gets a hearty "fuck off".
I think you should ask the family's of those six hundred dead people how they feel about it.

And yet not a word about the opening post:

Good site to keep up on the violence in Democrat stronghold Chicago. I hear on this forum how white nationalism is potentially the biggest threat we face today. How many of those shootings do you believe were white nationalists?"

C'mon, tell us about how much you care.

EDIT: Your slip is showing

Yes, the terms are interchangeable in people's minds. People assume a "Passover worshiper" is a Jew. There may be the odd person in such a group who isn't, but no one is thinking of them when you use that phrase. When someone says "Easter worshiper" I'm not thinking of anyone but Christians. Who else would you be thinking of?

To make matters worse, evidently Laura Ingraham further chastised Obama for this by saying:

“We don’t worship Easter,” Laura Ingraham tweeted. “We worship Jesus Christ.” Others, including One America News Network host Jack Posobiec, claimed to have never heard the term Easter worshipper before Sunday.

Uh, "Easter worshiper" refers to someone worshiping on the occasion of Easter, not someone worshiping Easter.

The excuses for outrage on the right are even worse than the excuses we often hear on the left, and those can be pretty lame too.

Shee-it. The OP presented it in the usual manner of alt right trolls bashing Democrat Chicago, one of their fave targets.

So, uhh, don't get all sanctimonious, OK? None of it is because Democrats in the first place.

First, the OP's number is fake. Notice the thread title says "shot," not killed.

Second, what's your solution?

It isn't racism, it is about drawing perspective. You guys shit your pants when white nationalism is brought up here, you act like that is a real threat. Yet white nationalism across the country over the course of an entire year can't match the body count of a few nice weather weekends in Chicago. Chicago is a Democrat stronghold. It isn't about race so much as it is about how minorities have bought into liberal propaganda and it has only made their communities worse. But the Democrats have them fooled, think that the big threat are white men in MAGA hats, meanwhile they're mowing themselves down in Democrat cities at a record rates.
Only an idiot would attempt to equate being Democrat with violence!!

Chicago's gun violence has nothing to do with white nationalism, the Democratic or Republican party, Islam, or Christianity.

Call it trolling all you want, it is no doubt a serious issue in the black community.

If you gave two shits about them as humans, you wouldn't simply address everything as "HUR DUR, HE BE TROLLIN'"

Just because you disagree with it doesn't mean it isn't a fact broceritops.

You guys do the same with shit you deem as conservative issues, yet you don't see any of us sane people on the right just replying with useless blabbering "DUR HASHTAG I'M A RETARDED LIBERAL CUCK!"

Agree. I mostly vote Democrat and I try to listen to the other side without resorting to name calling. You've got to listen to the other side without getting angry. The problem is most people have a terrible time listening to things they disagree with. That goes for both parties. I watched a Ben Shapiro video and he told a protestor that just because I say things you dislike, that's not hate speech.

No, the op and others have done that. Stop projecting.

Then decide that anyone that would like to see the situation improved gets a hearty "fuck off".

Questioning the motivations of people who want to use the issue of urban violence as a tribal attack doesn't put me in the wrong. The idea that conservatives suddenly genuinely care about these people outside their utility as a political football is laughable and I'm under no obligation to believe them.

I think you should ask the family's of those six hundred dead people how they feel about it.

Since about 120 people have died in 2019 that would probably be difficult. Again, people who can't get the basic facts right don't receive the benefit of the doubt on this topic from me.

The fix is to bring back values to their communities, fight against the cultural celebration of violence and dad's not being around to raise their kids, show people that jobs, family, and community are better than drugs, gangs, and violence. Basically to get them to buy into conservative values and drop liberal values, with that you'll see a change in attitudes. All you lefties do anymore is lower the bar for society and then claim that is the new norm, so it is ok now.

So basically you've become the right wing version of Bernie Sanders where all your "solutions" are to have people magically act in ways that work for your self-interest and political objectives? Calling for "bring back values" (read: "act white") is an incredibly stupid position to take.

Ironically, the poster you quoted is one of the worst offenders here of getting flipped out angry and namecalling at anything and anyone he disagrees with.

Yes, and ironically, while conservatives are sometimes right when they complain about liberals parsing words over political correctness - one of the few things they are ever correct about - this is their very own version of it right here.

Heh. No, this is the real Glenn, speaking from the perspective of Buckley-style conservatism. Which is really a form of classical liberalism. Which the Republicans under Trump have rejected utterly.
