Questioning the motivations of people who want to use the issue of urban violence as a tribal attack doesn't put me in the wrong. The idea that conservatives suddenly genuinely care about these people outside their utility as a political football is laughable and I'm under no obligation to believe them.

Since about 120 people have died in 2019 that would probably be difficult. Again, people who can't get the basic facts right don't receive the benefit of the doubt on this topic from me.

The fix is to bring back values to their communities, fight against the cultural celebration of violence and dad's not being around to raise their kids, show people that jobs, family, and community are better than drugs, gangs, and violence. Basically to get them to buy into conservative values and drop liberal values, with that you'll see a change in attitudes.
