Not sure about the math here. I had more points on Dec 1 than on Dec 2? Also I've been doing 50,000 ppd. My starting points are off as I posted earlier today.

EDIT: Here's my stats.

You are right. :| As per your earlier post I corrected the spreadsheet (that is why the math is correct) but forgot to correct the document which I use for formatting and therefore the first error stayed.

As about the variation of PPD ... you know that the PPD can change a lot dependeing on the WUs/project the computers get. Yesterday - for a better part of the day - my PPD was approx 87K (as per HFM.NET). Just now the same crunchers have an PPD of 110K becuse I obtained a couple of high-bonus WUs ...

Sorry, no malicious intent. I'll try to be mnore observant ..
Error corrected - if you do the maths you'll see that all is right now.

When are you going to look at or re-evaluate the teams for balance ? 100k difference the first day seems extreme. Redo the averages ?

Well, I guess its by bigadv unit spacing. They both drop in 18 more hours for 132,000 points in addition to be regular gpu stuff.

I'll take a look every day but will re-evaluate after 5 - 6 days (to see if the variations in daily production depends on which WUs are served).

All the races until now have started by one team being much stronger the firts days ... then the other team catches up and passes and then - after half the race - the team which was in the lead the first days was way behind ... we will see!

BTW: 90 K in difference is not so much. 2 bigadv-WUs to one team but not to the other may explain even more than 90K.

Looks like between 12/1/2010 9 pm to 12/2/2010 3 am updates, those running the GPU3 client lost points. Rather, the WUs seem to be lost in oblivion. I looked at my EOC stats and was wondering why that time period observed lower than normal points.

Vijay confirms the problem. Doesn't sound like any form of re-credit is going to happen.

Nuts. I was wondering what happened to that 6811 I flushed during that time.

Oh, well, I think I've done two more since then.

I have 10 clients using that, and they get ~9k ppd average, so I lost 25k points !!! 9k * 10 = 90k /4 =22.5 or so)

That really sucks.

The Snowmen take the lead with 10 473 points and - 3 661 in ppd, and they produced more than 100K more points than the Yetis! Looks almost like a reversal of yesterday's production!
A good start!

Quick question. Are the ppd figures based on 24 hr avg. or actual ppd output?

_ ppd _______ points ______ ppd _______ points ______ diff ______ diff _______ Name
Dec. 01 _____ Dec. 01 ____ Dec. 3 _____ Dec. 3 ______ ppd ______ points
__2 225 _____ 710 674 _____ 8 258 _____ 752 902 ___ 6 033 ______ 42 228 ______ wingding=brownstone

Just curious as this is what is listed on EOC.
Day Points WUs
12.03.10 10,337 8 (so far)
12.02.10 23,146 16
12.01.10 13,937 9
11.30.10 10,384 9
11.29.10 0 0

That is the "points 24hours average" (and NOT "points last 24 hours").
Actual ppd output is not reported on EOC; only if you use HFM.NET or similar program.

My average is all over the place, and it going to get worse, now my 2 I7's are in sync. In 11 hours, I have 130k coming in just from those 2 bigadv units. I have another I7 coming online sometime this month.

I am at the parents house around chicago and picked up a i7 870 woo hooo (frys and microcenter so close but the taxes are a killer). But I will be out of town for a week. For the big advantage WU you need 4GB of ram right? Also, big adv. requires windows to run or you just run it in a wine in ubuntu? I will be leaving tomorrow on vacation but I'll be sure to check back for any responses!

edit: I also got a gt 210 that was FAR but I don't know how many wu that can muster.

I would definitely recommend 4GB, although my current bigadv is using ~1GB. bigadv is currently not available for Linux, so yes either Windows or Wine.
