These are JEDEC 1.8V DDR2 RAM (single-sided). Usual Crucial but may also be Samsung ICs. Works well with IP35-E in a 1GB x 4 configuration. Default is 1.8V DDR2 667, but RAM is also stable at 2.0V DDR2 800 with 5-5-5-15-2T timing.

There's a limit of 5 sticks. HP rebate is as good as cash in hands. Turn-around time is 4 weeks.

Wow Good man Serpent Royal FYI, I have an HP computer that has samsung sticks, that would NOT post my ip35-e. Dunno what the problem was or if they were different. Got some Gskill sticks today that booted up right away. Might get one of these to put in the hp. Thanks

*edit interestingly, the hp computer in question, a pavillion a6***** is not listed in their compatibility list on that website

No. 1GB x 2, plus 512MB x 2. These are 1.8V DDR2 800 Kingston N5 ValueRAMs.

I've built a few rigs for friends with IP35-E and these RAMs. No problemo with 1GB x 4.

It's probably DDR2 533 if you have HP a6xxx. IP35-E will only work with DDR2 667 or 800 modules.

Awesome find, SerpentRoyal - I'm in for 4 even tho I don't need the RAM right away. Guess I'll use it to build/upgrade machines for family (& perhaps friends). Sheesh, just got 2 GB Crucial Ballistix for a little over $50 AR & thought that was a good deal. This'll wind up being $60 AR for 4 GB of what looks like very useful RAM!

This'll likely go into an IP35-e setup eventually.

good find; this is the lowest price to date. I bought my 2nd five sticks in early Aug. and received my check a couple of weeks ago. Have no idea what to do with 10 gigs of pc5300 DDR2, on top of 6 gigs of Ballistix I bought with rebates in April.

Same $40 rebate, but the initial price is $61.40 & I see no mention of free shipping either.

yes, these rebates span over 3 months; so if you already bought 5 after Aug.1, you are not qualified. I would venture that a new rebate will start Nov. 1.

Overclocking D9 is capable of +550MHz. These are good up to 400MHz @ 2.0V. ICs don't like to see more than 2.0V.

They must've just lowered the price. When I checked earlier today the price before rebate was $61.40/stick.
