Now that I look a little further, that loooks like the case. The "suggestions" for the rebates are here, but the actual rebate forms are here. I guess it's just gettin' a little late, the Bud supply is dwindling, and we don't even wanna speculate about the status of the green, leafy vegetable matter............pardon me while I gobble another cookie.

I have received two of these offers. The first was for $10 if I rated them on resellerratings.com and the second was for $5 to add review on their site. After the review it adds the $10 or $5 credit to your account. They do not accumulate. So if you didn't order the maximum number of sticks yet you could order one more for free.

Please use the official rebate form for HP. Even the call is TOLL FREE. 41 cents stamp is all you need to get the mail to the processing house.

Is that option available if you used Google checkout and don't have an account registered with them?

I was going to buy this on Amazon from PCUniverse, but tax and shipping offset the advantage from the Coinstar rebate(s) so I just ordered from CostCentral.

I just ordered this ram (4x1GB) on 9/25/07 from costcentral. Received the product on 9/27/07 (WOW...super quick shipping!). I then mailed the rebate on 9/28/07. I received my check from HP for $160 today (10/22/07)! 3 weeks has to be a record for me to receive a rebate. I also got the $10 credit offer for leaving feedback/review. I left the review, and ordered the new Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0/Premiere Elements 4.0 (academic) combo on the 17th. Emailed a .jpg of student ID that day. They had the best price on the web for this product - $10 credit for leaving a review, which was in my cart at the time of checkout. They shipped on the 19th, and I received it yesterday. These are my only two orders with costcentral, but I have been very pleased so far. Everything has gone as advertised/expected!

I don't think so. I went through Google checkout with CostCentral, and did not receive anything like that.

Now you know that HP's rebate is $ in your pocket. Microsoft is also at the top of my list. Folks say Tigerdirect rebates should be avoided at all cost. The worst for me has been Corsair. I bought three kits over the last 1.2 year with rebates. Two of the three rebates sent to Tempe, AZ were Missing In Action.

I went to the US Postal Office to drop-off the mails (no more blue box around my area). I've sent out hundreds of rebates over the years. Only had four MIAs with two going to Corsair within one year. Had to fax in my photocopies to receive my rebates.

Techonweb for me...

48.95 each + FreeShip + NoTax - 40.00MIR = 8.95/1GB

Craziness...

In for five for the second time. Last time (late June) took ~3.5 weeks to receive my $200 rebate check and cost was $15.99/1GB. Let's see if they can beat that time this time around.

It's insane! $9/GB of quality RAM. Only about a week left with this promotion. I don't think these will go much lower in October.

NO problems under Orthos blend @ 2V and 800mhz 5,5,5,15.
I didn't try anything more aggressive since I was happy with the above results.

Kinda itching to get 2 more.
The rebates are really fast....right guys??

2x1gb @ 1000mhz <, >, or = to 4x1gb @ 800mhz ??

3 to 4 weeks if there is no problem with the submission.

2 x 1 would be faster. Your speed will drop by a very small amount anytime you run with four sticks. However, if you need more than 2GB of RAMs to run an application, then you'll need 4 x 1.

These RAMs will also run 2.0V/4-4-4-12-2T up to about 340MHz. This would be ideal if you have a 10x or 11x multi CPU.

Serp, you should know I'm the proud owner of an 8x e2140.......that is happy to run on a 1600bus @ 3200 .

I still love that OC. She will do 3.4, but 3.2 is just too smooth & stable.

Grabbed this 667 in case I decide to rag-doll a CoreDuo Celeron on yet another IP35-E .

Saw your name on that overclock list. I also bought the CM TX cooler. Very quiet when idling with a slight hum under full load. Got 3 FAR from the Egg. I have metal brackets so no bundled push pins. Much better than the stock cooler. The positioning of the cooler is also ideal for the IP35-E...some air to reach the NB and MOSFET heat sinks.
