popular board right now is the abit35E for about $65-70 due to price. I went with GAp35-DS3L for $98 shipped from ewiz. I want to "set and forget"

I also bought the CM TX cooler. Very quiet when idling with a slight hum under full load. Got 3 FAR from the Egg. I have metal brackets so no bundled push pins. Much better than the stock cooler.

Yes, I was considering this kit. Is that what your talking about?

I also wanted to get away from the push pins, and figure a tighter mount will lower temps some.

Well, after watching this deal for about a month or more, I finally broke down and ordered two sticks. Don't know what I'll use them in but I'll build......er.....find something.

Thanks OP!

Unbelievable!

Same here. How in the world does costcentral ship FedEx Ground so fast? My package was delivered even before I got my tracking #. About 28 hours after ordering... insane.

Hey all, I got in on this deal for 4 GB of the Micron DH9NL sticks. What MB would you guys recommend? I've heard the P35s are good, but then reading reviews over at NewEgg I see that some have stability/reset issues. Which MB would run a G0 Q6600/X3210/X3220 CPU well overclocked (I know it depends on the OC + specific chip, but what has everyone had good luck with)?

Also, I plan on using VM's on my new build and was wondering about the X3210 and X3220 with the Intel Virtualization Technology... does anyone have experience with this? Is it really worth it (ie, if I'm set on a quad core system and expect to use VM's, would it make a significant impact to go with the X3220 or X3210)? Also, has anyone seen any comparisons with overclocked X3220's and X3210's? I wonder if the 3221's 8x multiplier would make for a more stable OC at 333*8=2.66Ghz or the Q6600/X3220 at 9*XXX? Also, how common is MB support for the Intel Virtualization Technology?

Thanks.

I believe this is a question that hasn't been asked before. Which numbers are supposed to be the serial numbers? This is required for the rebate and there's two sets of numbers that could be it.
So, what say ye?

Look for the HP sticker on the ICs. There's an SC number...that's your S/N.

I like IP35-E. See MB forum for review. Quite a few happy owners there.

I'm gonna wait on the IP35-E to come down in price so that I dont have to deal with the rebates and build a new rig with that.

I have a x2 3600+ right now running at 5200+ speed but it just isn't doing it for me.

Need more speed and POWAH!!!

That's kinda what I thought. But ya' know, there's a number at the top right that could be mistaken for the same thing.

Easy. They use a distribution warehouse near you. My CostCentral order took a week to get to me, while my TechOnWeb order came next day, due to where they were being shipped from. Neither of these distribution warehouses owned by CostCentral or TechOnWeb.

Crap, I kept on pushing the retry button to get it going, and it would not. I hope I don't get 20 sticks at my door.

I checked the site and it had no orders pending for me. Hew! So, I ordered 5 sticks, since this is the last day for the rebates. I hope I get them soon..., the memory sticks and the rebate I will be filling out soon. By the way, I ordered them this morning, but still haven't gotten a confirmation e-mail. Did this happen to others from TechOnWeb?

Hehehe...I broke down last night & ordered two more sticks, this time from Techonweb...$17.90AR for two gigs, I couldn't resist.
I'll have 4 gigs of ram for less than $40.
Thanks SerpentRoyal!
