I played the beta and the first two months. Fun casual game that gets old real fast once you have zerged trough all the content...

Dead Rising 2 is still $40? Bah... I'll keep waiting. Also was interested in DC Online but I don't have enough time to make it worth it.

What he said. It got old for me pretty quickly.

RE5 was more fun than I expected. Dead Rising 2, I think I got around 25 hours worth of play from it.

edit: 27 hours for RE5, 29 for Dead Rising 2.

I'm a big fan of Resident Evil 5. Mostly because it has the exact same gameplay mechanics of RE4 (Not a bad thing... not a bad thing at all). It's not as memorable as RE4, but still pretty damn good. The co-op AI fortunately is pleasant to work with (most of the time).

For reference, I played RE4 on the Gamecube and RE5 on the PC. RE5 controls well with a keyboard and mouse, but I'd imagine a gamepad should work nicely as well.

Hmm, sounds like DC is a pass then. A shame, because I really like the idea of it. They need to make more DC games in the style of Batman AA; freaking loved that game.

Might pick up DR2. Doesn't sound like a game I'd play for long but for $20 I'll probably get my money's worth.

Me and a friend really enjoyed playing through RE5's co-op mode. In fact I think we almost ended up playing through it 3 times at different difficulties. Well worth the money if you have a friend who will play it with you. By yourself it would be much less fun.

In my opinion? Resident Evil 5. Dead Rising is fun too, don't get me wrong, but plowing through a mall full of zombies is only enjoyable for a little while and then it gets repetitive.

While the entire Resident Evil series has an overarching story, it's not necessary to know it before playing the game. In fact, if you watch the intro at the beginning of the game, it does a very good job of filling you in on the setting and the situation.

My thoughts exactly. No way am I paying $49.99 for it on Steam.

Gamestop had the PS3 version for $39.99 recently. So did Best Buy. (Get the PS3 version, you get a free code to grab it on Steam on PC)
