#6 Iowa at Michigan State

Iowa beat PSU, Wisconsin, and PSU all on their home turf.
Last year those teams were 24-4 at home.

And just so it's clear....I think Florida and Alabama would slaughter Iowa. Frankly I'd rather them match up to the Rose bowl vs USC than get a national title bid vs either of those two if they win out.

Yes. Please tell me how a last second victory over unranked MSU (now 4-4) makes the case for you being LESS overrated. Are you serious? I'm glad Iowa pulled out the win, it shows some character, but it doesn't make them MORE of a contender.

I disagree. Come on guys, I'm a Big Ten fan, I love the Big Ten teams, I really enjoy Iowa as well. PSU (my team) was what, 4, when they lost to Iowa? 4? Penn State was ABSURDLY overranked at 4. Just like Iowa is overranked at 6. Is Iowa a good team? Oh yeah, definitely, I have never said they were bad. They simply aren't the 6th best team in the country, period. If you can't say that, well, then I'm sorry you just feel the need to love your team blindly.

colt mccoy had a fever of 101 during that game. he's been sick all year, to the point of being flown in separate planes so as not to infect everyone else.

Meh, it depends on how you look at it. Do I think Iowa can beat any of the teams ranked above them. No prob not. Maybe Boise but it'd be a game.

Now do I think Iowa would lose to any team below them? No. Maybe their would be a few tough games, but Iowa should be able to pull it out.

That is how ranking is supposed to work. I think Iowa is exactly where they earned. Now Miami and Cinncy, they are over ranked. I don't think they can beat teams 3 or four spots away. They are only high because of leading their conference, not because they are great teams.

I'm not so sure Iowa would beat LSU, VTech, Penn State (if they had a rematch), OSU (we'll find out later), but we'll see.
