Big Ed's makes burgers that are bigger than pizzas with fries that cover a TRAY and a large drink... 20 something dollars but free if you eat it all... alone in one hour... I've seen it happen on a few occasions... Big Ed weighted about 450 - 550 pounds

you also got lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup and all that other good stuff, so it adds up.

The 3lb burger from wally is totally edible in 15 minutes or less. The record is 8 minutes 30 seconds.

8:30? For 3lb? I get raw meat from the local supermarket and craft my own burgers because the store bought ones are too small...I eat 3lb in 5 minutes flat

I did a 2 pound burger once to win a contest. The problem was their attempt at cooking a 2 pound patty like you would a 1/2 pound or even 1 pound. I didn't work, the meat was overcooked. I wonder if Danny's or any of the others you mentioned have a "special" way of cooking them so they remain like a burger should be, all the way through the patty.

Did you see all the stuff on the 6lb burger? There's like an entire tomato on there, 8 slices of cheese, probably half of a head of lettuce (above *and* below the patty), half an onion or so and 5 or 6 pickle spears. Plus each side of the bun looks like it's 1-1/2 to 2 inches thick.
